I still think it'll be the same top 4 or 5 a few weeks from now, city scored an OG, Tottenham are playing well but
Liverpool played with 10 men for most of the game and with 9 men for the last 20 minutes then scored an OG in the last minute.
MU have disappointed so far but we've seen this before, they have a way of bouncing back, may be Ten Hag would have to go first.
There was a big controversy as to the VAR intervention in that Liverpool disallowed "Offside" goal. It is clear that the goal was Onside and somehow the communication between the VAR official and the Referee was a mess. But there are so many decisions that VAR did not intervene. One was against Liverpool in their match against West Ham in their previous fixture, when West Ham's Bowen was clearly brought down in the penalty box. Surprisingly the VAR Officials did not ask the referee to take a look at the screen. But to me these are still very early days, and like last season when Tottenham were expected to finish in the top four and even be the title contenders. However, they fell by the wayside and did not even make the top six for a European spot. Newcastle were one of the surprise top four contenders. Well, Man United started last season at the bottom of the table, however, Ten Hag really turned it around for them. Yes, that may not be the case this time.

Arsenal managed to win one against City. Very good game, City needs to pick up speed when playing Arsenal.

Poorest that I have seen Man City play. They were way below par against Wolves and barely tested the Arsenal keeper who made a few howlers and got away with it.

2 back to back defeats now and they'll play Brighton next, Arsenal got a lucky break but deserved the win.

Tottenham collapsed, just when I started thinking maybe they could go undefeated this season.

They were playing really good, then I don't know what happened.
Well, whatever happened last time just happened again ;)
They played well too but Sarabia's equalizer in added time came like a thunderbolt.

They beat Tottenham the other day. Maybe they're coming back up.
Only to fall apart against Newcastle, thanks to that red card for James.
Man City v Liverpool was quite a game. But Arsenal are back at the top of the table. Wonder for how long though?
The other surprise result was Spurs home loss to Aston Villa. They were at the top of the table in the first quarter of this season. Now they seem to stumble and have dropped out of the top four. However, not a big difference in points for the top 9 teams.

The biggest shock was the 10 point deduction for Everton and that is exacerbated by their home loss to Man United. They sit second from bottom. Wonder what will be the outcome of that investigation into Man City and Chelsea's finances and transactions? But the Everton supporters came out in their droves to express their discontent about this unprecedented fine.

That Liverpool/city was a very good game, Liver certainly fought back. Tottenham lost again.

That is true. Also watched The Fulham v Wolves game today. Was quite a competitive one. If Wolverhampton won they would have moved into the top half. But Fulham were gifted with a couple of penalties though conceding one themselves..

This month is going to be a very taxing time for teams still participating in competitions like The Euro Champions League, The Europa and Conference Tournaments as they have midweek games to contend with as well throughout December. Then we have the quarter--finals of the Carabao Cup prior to the Christmas Holiday period. No wonder that the injuries does take the toll on many of the teams.

It's deja vu all over again. Could what happened in Serie A at the close of the last century happen in the EPL?

Imho doxxing Everton ten points is terribly unfair but it does open a can of worms. Will the EPL check the unlimited spending by certain clubs or will it be swept under the rug in favour of silverware.

Abu Dhabi has an army of lawyers at the ready, it's a terrible situation that could have grave effects on European Clubs if it's swept under the table.

What a game City against Tottenham, City kept leading and the Spurs kept coming back, ended up 3-3
But then Spurs who dominated the first half at home against West Ham, could not add to the tally after so many missed chances and then were made to pay for it in the second half.
Credit to West Ham for their resilience in defending and then coming out of the blocks to also capitulate on some defending howlers by Tottenham. Then there was a shock 3-0 win by Everton over Newcastle. Wow, just so difficult to predict the outcomes from each fixture this season.

Villa is on a tear! I hope they can keep this up! And what's with United losing at home to Bournemouth 3-0 (was 4-0 until VAR)?!

Loving all this "giant slaying"!
