UV-C light is a whole different kettle of fish.

This post has nothing to do with UV-C light treatment.
You are losing on so many fronts that you can't even keep your replies straight.
If we want to save every single life possible, we should shut down for 2 years and reduce the speed limits to 10km/hr.
And if hundreds of millions starve to death and die from other poverty maladies, at least they didn`t get Covid-19, or die in a horrific car crash.
What does this have to do with UV light I wonder.
The answer is easy. As the article states: "Projections about the spread of the coronavirus sent New York state scrambling to increase its hospital bed capacity by more than double its 53,000 limit."
This has Trump's own taskforce projections that it needed the bed capacity of the ship. Fortunately the projections were wrong and the peak was lower than expected and then leveled off. Como gave Trump credit for sending the ship based on Trump's taskforce suggestions. Another report said there were 112 patients on various times on the naval ship.
And how are these not bias towards a negative narrative? It's all open for interpretation at this point.
And there is no evidence UV from a tanning bed is going to go into the body and kill the virus that is attacking the lungs. UV from beds can cause skin cancer over time but doesn't reach internal cells beyond the skin is my understanding.
The UV-C? that is used is to disinfect ROOMS not bodies. In one news report they showed how it was used with the door to the room barred with huge warning posters DO NOT ENTER? While it would kill the virus on a surface in the room it will kill a human if they entered.
That is not a fair analysis since no one is suggesting waiting until there is no flu. But below I think its 10% of the population based on wide testing, a 14 day downward curve of new infections to a certain level and contact tracing for those new infections.
There are people here who think that we need to save every single life and anything short of that is putting money over lives.
Lifting the lockdown will increase the spread and cost lives.
This is inevitable.
We need to do it in a way to minimize the losses.
The reality is we have no choice and a balanced decision is coming soon.

Using data and facts to write an article is not propoganda, the videos and the articles that are claiming "Sweden success" are propoganda since they provide false facts to support their opinions.
It doesn't matter if they are a negative article to your views they are truthful which is all that matters.

People like the poster above keep making the assumptions that are furthest from reality they can make in an effort to promote the idea of opening businesses up ASAP, and have been running around promoting the "Sweden success" propoganda meanwhile all evidence proves so far they haven't been as successful as their immediate neighbours Denmark and Norway.
You are 100% right about the 14 day downward curve and I've posted this numerous times, unfortunately some people still haven't understood or willfully ignoring that most important fact (asymptomatic carriers) revolving around the Coronavirus.
We have to use a 14 day timeline with a downward trend if we are going to be curbing the spread of the Coronavirus.
We certainly can not use just the numbers in Toronto as evidence to open businesses back up.
They are focusing the testing on those most likely to be sick, of which there will be no shortage any time soon.
They need to do broad diverse randomized testing.
It is like trying to see if the Tories are making up any ground on the Liberals but you only conduct polls in Liberal dominated ridings.
