No I said I don't support the destruction of the oil industry. You have some kinda crazed conspiracy theory, sorta like people in Israel say you want to destory Israel when you ask them to stop murdering Palestnian children. I don't really see how you can reconcile the claim the Libs wanna destory the oil industry with the massive investment in TMX, approval of LNG Canada, Bay du Nord and ongoing expansion and increase in oil production throughout the entire term of the Trudeau govt. Even the cleanups of the abandoned wells were subsidized when they should have been prosecuted. None of the data supports your crazed drunken theory.

Your charts are pointless. The one I posted is China, and they are leading in renewables. We are not growing as fast and have tons of NG so we will transiction more slowly. Yet even Alberta, home of vast oil and gas resources is deplying vast quantitis of wind power becuase it makes FINANCIAL SENSE.

This is only a butt-hurt for people obsessed with money. I wouldn't live in ass-backwards Alberta, no matter what kind of a salary you threw at me. Alberta is literally ranked 10th on my list of provinces I would want to live in, largely because the average Albertan is an asshole.

But hey, Alberta was the last province settled in Canada and its settlers were largely angry, repressed American ranchers looking for cheap land, so we should expect no less from that dump.

Ok they are building a massive factory in WIndsor as a result of this money that will create jobs for a very long time (hopefully anyway) its better then the billions the govt had to shell out to close up oil and gas wells that the corrupt AB oil industry simply abandoned and left spewing toxins into the air. At leasts this supports positive development of Canadas economy, vs the govt having to shell out billions to remediate environmental damage by the oil industry and stop toxins from seeping out and poisoning Albertans. Were you againt the funding of orphan well decommishing by the Trudeau govt? Would it have been better to keep them spewing oil and sour gas? YUMMY!!!

Only a moron does not understand that line of questioning is a political ambush. The factory is still being built so asking how much carbon reduction it has yielded is idiotic and sucked up by people like you as proof of corruption. Its like asking how much oil TMX has moved 6m into the project. You need to start a 12 step program.

If you are worried about govts controlling carbon because its "life" don't . They already control water, transport and food. Would you prefer they didn't and you had to boil your water and when you eat food you have no idea if its gonna kill you? Do you like roads, instead of having to hack your way on dogsled or on muddy trails?

Those climate lawsuit cases you cite wouldn''t have any impact
on the course of climate change or more precisely carbon emission
growth. It is also easier to win in climate lawsuit against the government
if no individuals among those in power are held liable to jail terms as the
losers won't bother to appeal the ruling. Do you think winning in an
accussation of Trudeau's role in growing the nation's carbon emission
in the last 10 years would land him in jail?

Our courts would side with the establishment where profit is at stake.
It is fine to grant attention-whoring youngsters victory in bogus climate
lawsuit. But to find out which side of the climate debate the status quo
is on here is a recent case that gives hint on the answer.

So in other words it contradicts your presumption that the Climate Change Deniers are "winning all the Court battles"!!
All these court battles depend on the Constitution of different jurisdictions around the world!!
Thankfully, the Canadian Courts are not cozing up to these establishments that only have their profits as the top priority!!.
Otherwise why would these Oil Establishments have buried the In Depth Research of their 1980 Climate Change warnings?
The Climate Change Deniers will never discuss this fact!!
Once again we are seeing the impact of Climate Change around the Globe and these Youngsters know that their future is of real concern!!
Only the Climate Change Deniers want to keep to their lifestyle in these gas guzzling cars for the rest of their lives irrespective of the damage with these emissions!!

As usual, speculation from the righties. I do not OWN A TESLA and will never do so!!
Come on oracle, just be more professional in your comments and stop your allegations against others on this Board!!
Luckily you don't! Anyone who would trust buying a car from Elon is nuts. He is a grifter, just a very rich grifter who knows how to grift.

Have you actually spent any time in Alberta or is your view strictly from Yonge and Bloor?

The people I have met in/ from Alberta are hard working, family and community orientated , friendly, fun loving adventurous types.
I also discovered it was astounding the number of Albertans who moved there from Ontario
Most will never even consider moving back..
When ever Eastern Canada comes in conversation, they are polite enough about it to me, but are genuinely very disappointed and hurt by how their province is treated by the Trudeau family and their own government.

Perhaps you may need to expand your circle of acquaintances

But hey, Alberta was the last province settled in Canada and its settlers were largely angry, repressed American ranchers looking for cheap land, so we should expect no less from that dump.
And what incentive did your forefathers have when they arrived here ?
A new opportunity perhaps ?

Climate deniers have won and would win thoses cases where and
when their interest are at stake. Steven Guilbeault I believe is still facing
climate lawsuits filed against Bay Du Nord. He and the government
would surely win and the oil drilling project would proceed to completion.

And I think I was saying climate deniers are like the bad guys
in pro-wrestling matches where they often defeat the good guys.
I had in my mind only climate cases of which outcome would be
consequential. With bogus climate lawsuits motivated by gaining
publicity the deniers are more likely to lose.

So in other words it contradicts your presumption that the Climate Change Deniers are "winning all the Court battles"!!

I'm pretty sure most Canadian would rather live in Alberta than certain parts of the GTA. Not naming names Buuramptone.

Joining in late to the discussion.

Not as much as Canada has sucked at the teat of Ontario, the country's economic driving force. Maybe we should tell the rest of the country to go fuck themselves.
Shrug, IIRC Ontario has received Equalization payments in the past, Alberta never has. Mind you Ontario is not as big as the welfare queen whore that Quebec is.

If Alberta is such a great place to live then why were they airing ads in Ontario trying to pay people to come live there?

PS…most of the people who listened to those ads and moved to that red neck shithole came back within 6 months.

Has it ever occurred to you that maybe it's the freezing cold weather that scares them off.
