Anyone, who has will power to stick to their goals and achieve them, has my respect.

Keep doing whatever you're doing - stick to it or else those lost pounds will stick back on.
Thanks.

My weight has always gone up and down for a variety of different reasons from just me being lazy and bingeing to medical reason causing mobility issues. I know how easy it is to come back.

For me it is not so much the number on the scale but how I physically feel. That is the more important goal for losing and maintaining a better weight.

I am down 22lbs. Feeling much better now then I did when I started this thread. LOL.

And holy cheaper grocery bill. I know eating healthier usually costs more but it is nothing compared to ordering SkipTheDishes 4 times a week!o_O
Congratulations! Very happy you are feeling better and richer lol. This is good work 🎖

Funny thing, during the first wave, we started only working three days a week, so I had all kinds of free time. Lost 25 lbs and was in the best shape of my adult life. Then over the summer we went back to a 5-day work week and it's been that way ever since. Except much more stressful and time-consuming because supply lines are a mess. I started eating a lot of take-out, and gained every pound of that 25 back. Sitting right there at the moment, maintaining.

If we get shutdown half an hour from now, maybe I'll have a second shot at that 25! lol

EDIT: Congrats on losing the 22 lbs!

Ever since the gyms shut down, I think I definitely have gained some weight.

Luckily, with the weather getting warmer I can start cycling again. A couple of the parks near my place have outdoor fitness equipment so if it doesn't get fenced off again with the new COVID restrictions, I can start using that as well.

Just to add to this, took a ride out to one of the parks and, not surprisingly, saw it was fenced off. At the very least, I should be able to maintain my lower body strength until at the very least the equipment is available again. Unfortunately, I can't see the gyms reopening before at least mid- to late summer/early fall.

I got more buff and if anything daily exercise was a good for maintaining sanity when the world is on panick mode. Particularly when you do it first thing when you wake up. As an assertion of making order in your world. Even if the world is chaotic and promising to maintain the effort to always give it your best and create your own order in your mind. Which I picked up that idea of why Miltary men make their beds first thing in the morning. (I will make my bed too as part of the morning routine for that matter)

Excuses are excuses and you don't need a Gym to workout. Pull ups from my door and dips from my kitchen table more than suffice. Slow them down if I need more resistance.

Like most things if you're really serious about doing something, you just do it.

And quiete frankly if this pandemic is apparently about health. That is a priority that should be addressed.

Rather than flicking on the news and drowning into fear and paranoia. Which the stress I'm pretty sure is not good for your immune system. But hey I'm no Doctor.

I have been working out and have actually lost 5 lbs so far. Doing home workouts has become part of my regular routine. I actually love it .

Lots of people are experiencing weight gain because of covid. Its best to just stay as active as you can .

I'm about the same, or perhaps a little lighter. Losing that 60 minutes of commute per day by working from home allowed me to have a 60 minute walk through K-B park and some of the other local parks.

Remarkably since Covid started my penis has grown an inch in length so understandably I am concerned about what's going to happen if things go back to normal.

I've heard that's a side effect of the South African variant........

I just read some articles saying that most people said they lost weight during the COVID-19 global pandemic lockdown. This happened because of the mass hysteria, so people started to get nervous and had more stress. At the same time, people who were going to the gym, like you, Jenesis, gained some additional KG. In any case, if you are feeling uncomfortable now, I would suggest you approach a weight loss plan from https://medicalweightlosslehighvalley.com/, so you can start losing your weight without going to the gy

I actually lost a kilo or two. Eat less.
It isn’t even so much about that as it was the lack of activity. A client of mine was just saying that he didn’t realize how much exercise he got just walking around hotels travelling for work until he had to stop doing it and work strictly from home.

Movement is what I miss the most. Muscle atrophy can appear as weight loss.

Gaining or losing weight is very hard actually. If weight is going up or down and you aren't trying in either direction, then it's mostly water weight. If you ate too much, you'd be sick and if you ate too little you'd be bed ridden.
