A White woman call Michelle Obama an ape in heels, who she was relieved to see leave the White House so that a lady of immense class in Melania Trump can now enter it. The ape/monkey reference is reserved for blacks as an insult mainly based on their perceived looks by the purveyors of beauty standards. And that the 'civilised Whites found their primitive asses in the jungles' of Africa. So Roseanne trying to be cute by referring to TWO black women as apes is not 'lesser'. That's like saying calling someone a gay slur is less than calling them an liar based on their obvious lies.
Token negro, coon and uncle tom. All in the same vein. Yes, these are levelled at traitors and unapologetic sell outs. Those who sell their soul to the devil.
Equating calling someone a traitor with calling someone an ape or an n-word belongs in the Mr Fantastic supreme reach category.
Let me simplify it. Calling out someone for being a traitor, someone of poor virtue who would sell their own mother for a beef patty is not the same as calling out someone and insulting them for being born black. One is a choice. I'm sure you know that.
It seems that you want me to take your posts seriously, but you don't bother responding to the points that are made to you. One, the insult of calling someone a primate IS NOT reserved to insulting black people, as the ongoing Trump=Orangutan insult proves. Two, the usual context of the insult is to suggest that someone has sub human intelligence, however that can't be the context of a reference to the PLANET OF THE APES (where apes are superior in intelligence to humans). Three, while "ape" may be one kind of dehumanizing insult, it's hardly the worst, as apes are actually closer in intelligence to humans than dogs, rats, snakes, worms or any number of other unflattering animal comparisons made to people of varying races.
I think what you might be trying to focus on is a physical comparison between apes and some people. Here's a link to Valerie Jarrett's wikipedia page which includes her picture:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valerie_Jarrett. To my eye, I could not even identify her as black. Regardless of race, she certainly doesn't have any facial features that could be compared to an ape.
As I've said, I don't
equate the two insults. Let me simplify it for you - calling someone a traitor to his people is
far worse than, in essence, saying someone is unattractive, stupid, and/or mixed up with the Muslim Brotherhood.
p.s. Some people, of various races,
do have features reminiscent of apes, dogs, bears, snakes, rats, cows, elephants, horses, birds, and many other animals. In fact, you've reminded me that
all humans are described as "rat brains" in that movie classic Battlefield Earth!
