They don't charge me by the weight for a steak at a steakhouse. If it's 15oz. or 17oz., the price is the same.

Karen mode? You seem to be taking this personally. I simply stated a fact. I never complained to the proprietor. But it is shrinkflation. If I go to Pancer's and order a pound of meat, guess what, they give me 16oz.😲 Can you believe it?
Not taking anything personally, as you mean less than nothing to me. Different places charge what they want, you don't like, don't go there. And go complain about it on an anonymous online board. Oh wait, you already did.

Agreed, but the way you initially mentioned MSG made it seem bad.
I guess but my intention was not to demonize MSG, but to highlight the main difference between "western" mayo and Kewpie.

I simply pointed out their policy and then I start getting called a Karen. Why is this such a big deal to you?

TBH, when I go there I only order a sandwich so I don't give a shit. Why don't you yell at the poster who originally said that it was expensive?

Oh yeah, such a big deal. Learn to read. I wrote, "someone like you probably brought a scale and went Karen mode", did I write, "you went Karen mode"? No. I didn't. So carry on yelling at clouds while not understanding the simple principle of pre cooked weight vs. cooked weight.

My favourite sandwich is the someone makes for me.
1. Grilled cheese on calabrese bread. Once in a while I'll use gruyere cheese awesome.
2. Peanut butter and blackberry jam.

Traditional diner-style toasted clubhouse on toasted Wonder bread, mayo, no cheese and with real chicken or turkey. Not chicken or turkey baloney.

Don't know where to get a good one anymore.. just by chance. But I do make them at home this time of year in tomato season. And I prefer Miracle Whip instead of real mayo.🤷‍♂️
If you're ever in the Vaughan area try Gordos Diner 200 Edgeley Blvd. They have a decent one with real turkey.

As a kid in oz every sandwich had margarine and fucking beetroot in it.

To me, the most miraculous sandwich ever invented was the Reuben!
You take a bunch of..'meh' type ingredients (i mean, cmon - sauerkraut? Rye bread? Corned beef? Swiss cheese? Thousand island dressing? ), put them together and it is absolutely magical!
