Fixx suffered from atherosclerosis and was quite heavy at the time if his death. I think he had an enlarged heart as well and he had been a really heavy smoker for most of his life. So no he wasn't healthy at all. So there's that.
Nope fake news. It was the vaccine.

Also fuck, come on dude, he died about 35 years before covid existed, maybe, maybe ya think I was not being totally serious/engaged in mockery.

Or

Either response works for me.

6'3" is short for an NBA player.
Just another example of taking advantage of nepotism and a dad trying to extend his own life through his son.

Bronny might have been been able to have a happier life as a dentist. Less basketball practice and more study might have made it possible for him to carve out his own pathway.
How is it different from a Wall Street executive setting his son up with internships through connections so he can one day work for the same company as his dad? Is that neptoism as well?

Professional athletes who have kids possess the money and connections to get their kids a better chance at making it to the league in comparison to a kid who comes from a low income family. Bronny is not even a top 10 prospect for his draft class yet we see the "neptoism" word being thrown around. Countless kids better than him skill wise at his age.

There are many NBA players 6'3 or shorter that have achieved success or had long careers.

Is the wall street example nepotism. Well, yeah.
Also just because he isn't a top ten prospect doesn't make it not the nepotism. As long as he is doing better than his ability would suggest, it is nepotism.

If he gets drafted in the last round because of his old man's connections, that is nepotism if he otherwise would not get drafted.
And by connections I don't mean, "Hey we should give him a shot because genetics maybe, or publistity might sell tickets, I mean connections like his old man going around and trying to get him drafted higher than he should, or drafted at all.
I can't see someone going in the first round without deserving it because of nepotism, those picks are way too important, if he cracks an early round it's probably on him. The lower he is picked, well maybe his pops can convice a team to take a chance on a pick that won't matter much. I don't know, nor do I really care much.

But yeah, as for your wall street example, come on dude, that is pure nepotism.

Being tall might get you a spot on the basketball team, and it may even be good for your self-esteem and your paycheck. But recent research has also found that towering over your peers may affect various aspects of your physical health, as well—and not all for the better.
They also get laid more often.

Wow, wasn't expecting the amount of stupid responses on this thread.

Some of the tinfoil hat crowd here are trying to make this into an antivax thread. They'll probably say that the government put defibrillators in all those arenas and gyms years and years ago because "plandemic".

And to suggest Bronny's too short to play in the NBA and would be better off as a dentist has got to be one of the dumbest things I've read on here in a while. After the antivax nonsense, of course.

What about perfomers having complications and/or dying on stage? Any numbers on those? Because that's also happened the past few years, more so the past year.
I'm sure you can look it up if you had any interest other than conspiracy theories.

I'm sure some of the attention he gets is because his dad but a lot has to do with access to some of the best training (+ good genes). I've also seen no hint that he would rather be a dentist.

I wonder if it has to do with the vaccine
Yes, it is about the vaccine. Every single cardiac arrest episode for the vaccinated is caused by the vaccine. Nothing else. The vaccine killed more people than it saved. The proof? Elon Musk said so. :ROFLMAO:

And what they don't tell us is they've been secretly giving the covid vaccine to us for centuries

Those genes don't have him as a top 10 draft prospect for his draft class. I wonder if his father's fame and stardom can help him become a top 10 pick and skip over the more talented prospects.

Red House over yonder.
I wish Bronny James the best. "Dentist" is just a euphemism for a life career that would be of his own choosing instead of being boosted through a high pressure tunnel to live out other people's fantasies. There was no Babe Ruth Junior. In fact, "the Bambino" was a Jr, but it was his dad who never made the major leagues. I admire a multi-generational family business if it works for everybody. Tony Bennett's son made music better for all of us when he started to manage his dad's flagging career. But that can be different from inheriting an almost freakish talent to do a task better than 99.9% of other humans. I don't think Frank Sinatra Jr sold that many records.

It can be a hard job to be the son of a famous person. Imagine growing up in the Karl Wallenda family. Fame and fortune could be yours if only you would agree to balance backwards on a pole 100 ft above the ground.

Death of family business founder Karl Wallenda

T-Shirts to T-shirts in 3 generations?

I never needed to worry about what I would do with my life after an athletic career. The Prez was one of those nerds carrying a leather briefcase home from school in the 7th grade. Other people want to find fame and fortune fast. Just because your dad has a barrel in his garage does not mean you should try going over Niagara Falls. Study hard Bronny. It is better than just being a Big Town Payboy if basketball does not work out.
