Manoah was very good, Ohtani was better.

Angels have won every series at Rogers since 2011.

Will Jays (Schneider) recognize that Bichette is not a major league shortstop? Will Jays (Schneider) recognize that Guerrero is not a clutch hitter? Will they recognize that Whit is no real help? Or will they bench Hernandez and claim that is how they show accountability?

None of the above.

After dissing Robbie, Rogers doesn't deserve playoff money.

As good as Robbie was, leaving him out of celebrations was the right thing to do. It would have been a distraction no matter what. He probably prefers to lay low these days anyways.

The trip down memory lane was a good reminder of what it takes to win beyond natural talent. So many players on the 1992 and 1993 teams were true pros. Few mental mistakes, smart base running, star players laying down sacrifice bunts etc.

The Jays didn't play all that well tonight so I can accept the loss. However the umpire behind the plate was brutal. He called several strikes that were 4-6 inches out the strike zone. It sucks the fun out of watching. It becomes more a game of chance. Add Nick Mahrley to the list of MLB umpires that aren't big league.

All season long, righties have been getting Jays hitters out with pitching away. What is beyond me is that they haven't figured out how to counteract this.

Easy solution: Stand closer/crowd the plate! Wear more arm/hand guards and expect to get "In your ear" pitches . A HBP is just as good as getting a base hit.

I don't think Jays Nona enjoyed have The Mightiest of all Broadcasters crowding her space. Sid Seixeiro was star struck in her presence. It was a bizarre scene and the Jays lost.

It hasn't entirely sunk in that the New York Yankees are now part owners of Ac Milan. Kobe Bryant was once a tifosi.

That reminds me of Wilder vs. Fury. The jacked guy lost.
I was thinking all things being equal the more in shape man would win. That would be Judge.

I will retract my comment that Manoah is obese though. I checked some pics out of him and he is fitter than I thought. Not in Judge shape mind you but not obese. I've seen some vids of Judge training and it's quite impressive. He's extremely athletic. Yankees have him predominantly in centre field these days.

As for Fury and Wilder. Fury is just the better pure boxer and man can he absorb punishment. So all things outside of conditioning were not equal.

I beleive you mentioned that you follow the Yankees.

Has Donaldson had a big impact on the team "attitude and winning wise" like he did with the Jays during their 2015 and 2016 runs, or is he just another player on that team?

It's too early for Da Judge to don an Ac Milan strip, went looking for a pic didn't find one.

Good question. I've watched most of their games this year so here goes.

He ran aground a little there when he called Tim Anderson ''Jackie''. N Y media really made it out to more than it was. He was just busting balls. Anyways he apologized to Jackie Robinson's widow personally and that seemed to smooth things over. There was mention that he was upset that his teammates didn't have his back but he never said anything publicly that I can recall.

The big problem he has had is his batting this year. His defense has been great but on the other side he has been terrible. He said in an interview that he read a random tweet on the net that he's basically Adeiny Hechavarria with a 25 million dollar a year price tag. He then said that it really pissed him off to read that but when he thought on it he agreed, lol. At this point he has lost the fans. Everybody was waiting for him to turn it around but now they realize it's not going to happen.

To me it looks like he is just over matched at the plate on most nights. Consensus on the Yankee sites by the writers is that he guessing now because he's slowing down and can't react the way he used to. Father time is undefeated as we all know.

So to answer your question. No he hasn't had a positive impact. We can't blame injury either. He's been relatively healthy this year and Boone has continues to run him out there game in and game out. Yep just checked and he's playing 3rd and hitting 5th tonight just like always.

Yankees are not the same team they were for most of the first half. Their pitching barely resembles what they started the season with. Severino is hurt and probably gone for the year. Cortes is hurt. Montgomery traded ( nobody can figure that one out). Michael King ( their best reliever that no one has heard of) is gone for the year. Chad Green gone for the year. Zack Britton out all year hurt himself in a rehab assignment. Chapman gets an infection from a tattoo on. Now he is out his leg. Chapman hasn't been the same since they outlawed the spider tack anyways. Taillon is day to day.

Rizzo has had a reoccurring back problem and had an epidermal injection the other day. So he's out. LeMahieu is playing through a foot issue and is slumping. Lightening in bottle Carpenter is out for the year most likely. Stanton just came back from an achilles issue and his timing is all off. Hicks , Torres Donaldson are automatic outs. Oh and shortstop Kinner Falefa has hit one HR all year.

Judge is carrying this team.

Unless there is divine intervention the Yankees will continue to free fall.......LOL. Donaldson just booted a routine grounder as I write this.
