Angel Hernandez sucks too.Whether Jays win or loose, or get calls in their favour or against, I still think that Jeff Nelson is a terrible umpire.
Yep. Also terrible. So is Nick Mahrley. They are the three worst based on games and highlights that I have watched. Hernandez probably gets the most negative social media. Nelson is especially brutal in Jays games. He missed 27 calls when behind the plate in a Jays game in April. His balk call on Gausman without a warning when working 2nd base the other night was bush.Angel Hernandez sucks too.
When unassuming made this post on April 17, Stripling had pitched six innings, including one 4 inning start, allowing no runs. He was charged with two earned runs in two previous one inning relief appearances. He became a full-time member of the starting rotation on June 6.Stripling should replace Ryu in rotation, as he did pretty good his last outing.
Ryu should be sent to Buffalo and start learning to throw the knuckle ball, he doesn't throw hard any way.
That's what RA Dickey did, it prolonged his career.
Bo in September:I’ll leave it to the baseball nerds to do the research on this, but as far as I can recall, Bo Bichette is having the best week any Blue Jay player has ever had.
Only thing that might stop him winning is that Mike Trout has hit 6 homers in 6 straight games this week. But I hope Bo wins.Bo in September:

Very few top hitters have a front leg kick in their swing for a reason but Bo pulls it offBo appears to have his timing down at present. That high leg kick he has isn't easy to pull off in conjunction with his swing.
He's not the most fluent up there. I remember reading a scouting report on him in AA. They didn't think his swing was going to necessarily translate to success at the major league level as well as it did in the minors.
I still think he's a 2 bagger masquerading as a shortstop however. I'll bet he'd be a better hitter if he was at second and not having to worry about playing a position that isn't his best.
Think of what happened when Edwin moved to first.....
Yep. Front leg kick is additional movement that can throw off mechanics. Harder to maintain consistency. Can help provide additional power and/or plate coverage depending on kicking motion, when in a groove.Very few top hitters have a front leg kick in their swing for a reason but Bo pulls it off
They teach you not to do it
I'm gonna start using that front leg kick in my golf swing.Yep. Front leg kick is additional movement that can throw off mechanics. Harder to maintain consistency. Can help provide additional power and/or plate coverage depending on kicking motion, when in a groove.
