we still need more quality pitchers and I would trade Jansen and Biggio to get them. I would have kept Moreno in the line up and with Espinal as our everyday 2nd baseman Biggio would be great trade bait ( as much as I do like him) Our current pitching staff is not good enough to make a playoff run even if we make the playoffs.

We need BP that can throw high 90's, like the Yanks and TB. We only have Romano that can throw heat. Pearson and Merryweather can throw heat, but they are always on the IL

BP are suppose to shut down opposition and not allow base runners period.

I agree to trading Jansen and Biggio.

I'm not sure Jansen and Biggio will recoup high quality arms - especially at this time of year!

Schneider has tweaked the first four hitters of batting order for tonight's game:

1- Springer
2-Guerrero jr
3-Kirk
4-Bichette

Makes sense, Kirk's OBP is .400, while Bo's is at .300

and if Geurrero continues to disappoint, drop him to 6th and put Gurriel second. Look for that move after the all star game if Guerrero doesn't get hot

So Montoyo ask Vladdy to bat second and he refused , Schneider puts him in second last night and says thats where he will now bat. So it sound to me Vladdy was not a team player for Montoyo. Hes still not the player he should be. I think he needs to grow up and be the team player. If you noticed this year Biochette used to hang with Vladdy in the dugout but not anymore he hangs with Springer someone he can learn with. I am really getting fed up with Vladdy now

Yeah... Schneider certainly brought the team around. Ass-whipped by a couple of AA pitchers. Left the bases loaded in one inning.

Yes, but he is great at dumping gatorade and smiling through losses.

The Royals are missing several of their regulars including Whit Merrifield, Andrew Benintendi, Hunter Dozier and MJ Melendez. If we don't take 3 of 4 its a failure.
I was hoping that the Jays would make a play for Benintendi but the fact that he isn't vaccinated kiboshes that.

I'm waiting with bated breath for the release of Twins II starring Dikembe Mutombo and Alejandro Kirk...they make everything better.
