Vladdy's bat speed seems slower, and he's put on a lot of weight from what I can see, he must have couched potatoed during the covid layoff. We need more "Plakata" from him.

Nate Pearson is trying to hard, they brought him up too soon and he looks like Brandon Morrow.
If I was Atkins, I'd give Ferguson Jenkins a call. He's 77, if he still has his health, have him come up and tutor the kid. His mound etiquette is awful, he's tipping his pitches and he gets flustered when he walks a batter.
Jenkins had 284 wins with over 3000 strikeouts, he'll know how to calibrate the kid properly.

Blue Jays sweep a double header from Philly, winning the second game after being down 7-0. No quit with this team. 5 wins in a row, now above .500, and would be in the playoffs if the season ended now, all without their best hitter, Bo Bichette, and with their pitching “phenom” Nate Pearson being ineffective and now injured. All in all, pretty impressive.

For a big imposing man, he has an impish personality. He's not outgoing like Vladdi but he does the little things that de-stresses the dugout. Anyone remembers Bo's first home run, he got the silent treatment. Maybe he didn't see Rowdy or else he would have busted out laughing. Rowdy was sitting with one arm folded and his index finger on his chin, looking completely lost in a daydream.
