the team needs to concentrate mentally on the base paths.
You barreled that one up. Vlad tagged out at home. He had zero chance of making it without a throwing or catching error.

Reese McGuire was sent down to the alternate training site. Apparently the Blue Jays brain trust got together and were mass-debating whether to send him down.

Not Blue Jays but the Brewers and the Atlanta's broke out the bats last night.
Milwaukee 19-0 Detroit
Atlanta 29-9 Miami ...most runs scored in a game (1 team) since 1900

I'm not seeing many games because I don't have RSO1, but from what I gather from box scores and wraps, pitching sucks turd this year. The Jays have an above .500 record with a shaky rotation and patchy pen and other teams are heller worse. Bosox appear to have no pitching staff to speak of, Baltimore is a bad, cruel joke and the Yanks are barely adequate. The Jays put up a 6-spot and a 10-spot on consecutive nights without Bichette and without Teo (IIRC) in the 2nd game.

I would be surprised if a team doesn't score 30 runs in a game this season.

Any explanations would be welcome!

Jays are still missing a few pieces of the puzzle IMO.
They are 1 or 2 years away from winning the WS if FO plays their cards right

MLB average runs per game per team 2019 4.83
MLB average runs per game per team 2020 4.72

Runs per game per team are down 0.11 this year.

Another new rule should be team is allowed to forfeit after 7 innings

Between loss of concessions and TV advertising for 2 innings, I think that this is highly unlikely.

Jay's rookie catcher Alejandro Kirk is gonna be fun to watch, shows great plate discipline, walks more than he strikes out. He's 5'8" tall and weighs 265lbs, already a fan favourite.
