The Yankees are eliminated.

I sincerely hope that The Mighty A-Roid doesn't retire, where would baseball be without him? I hope he returns for a farewell tour next year, the outpouring of love and respect will be boundless.

And he is Caroline Cameron's boy - lucky stiff!

I really hope we can keep this team together for the next 5 to 10 years.

Sign Tulo, sign Price.............sign everybody!!!!
The only two that really need to be signed are Price and Estrada. Perhaps Smoak as well. The rest are under control.

More than likely they will give EE and Joey Bats two-three year extentions.

And remember that Vlad Jr was signed by the Jays. Considering the show he put on as a 16 year old I think we may see him by his 19th birthday. You never know with a draft pick but damn he may well be better than his dad.

But all the other rookies we have at least 4 years control. AA has really set us up for success for a number of years now. Relax and enjoy it.

Let's hope that history, as it is prone to do, repeats itself. Ken Griffey was an integral part of the Big Red Machine, Barry Bonds was a batting champion with the San Francisco Giants. These days everyone remembers their sons.

With free angency nowadays you cant think too long term but the #1 offense stays in tact for 2016. We may have to find some pitching but its going to be another good one next year.

apparently in the back to the future movie, part 2....the Cubs won it all in 2015
Joe Maddon is a baseball god. Every kids out there all like to play for him! Theo Epstein and AA should be voted co-winners of MOY for what they did to the Oakland A's. Two wonderful trades ruined the future of the A's imho.

Here's the thing. Winning MLB games is not the same as turning on and off a tap. Let's hope the Jays can turn on the tap during the playoffs.
What happened to-day is exactly what I meant about can't just turn the tap on and off. Ineffective SP, guys getting hurt, scoring only 3 runs, etc.

I knew this was going to happen. Back in July when Gibbons rested a few starters on a Sunday afternoon I had a gut feeling that it would cost the team. Then…….to top it off…..he pulled Buehrle a bit early in his 23 rd start. Then, to add insult to injury, he did some other shit. Now, look where the Jays are. They lost a baseball game. This is on the manager, big time. No successful team has EVER lost a baseball game before. Sheesh.

You mean the way KC kept the tap on, winning their last 5 games? They sure showed Houston and (dis)proved your theory.:thumb:

The more I read, the more I see how many people there are that do not know baseball. And they are usually the ones who are the most opinionated, especially in a knee-jerk way. Every loss is a disaster. Every wrong move by the manager deserves a firing.
