Granted as of now, the Yanks are ahead, but start the year with this current lineup (or a tweaked one with no Burhle and a returning Stroman for example), and I give the Jays a better shot than the Yanks. Granted the Yanks will also tweak.Yanks and Dodgers will push hard to sign Price during the off season, they can offer a lot more money and a more competitive team than the Jays. I'd love to see him stay but I just don't think they can compete with the Yanks. I honestly believe Price will end up a Yankee next year. I hope I'm wrong.
I'm surprised the Yanks haven't made any moves yet, Cashman always says he's not looking to do anything big but then again he always lies about it and pulls off something big. Just heard the Yanks have put Pineada on the DL, this might force their hand.Granted as of now, the Yanks are ahead, but start the year with this current lineup (or a tweaked one with no Burhle and a returning Stroman for example), and I give the Jays a better shot than the Yanks. lol I wish I was fancy-enough to help out that cause....Its up to you to take care of him while he's in Toronto, if you know what I mean
WowAA is almost certainly aiming for the second WC - just 2 games behind with the knowledge now that he has the ace to get through the first WC match-up. Winning the division would be much more difficult from where they are now.
Brilliant. How you figured that out is beyond me. You have an incredibly deep understanding of the game of baseball at the major league level. Here's why I think Detroit got rid of Price. His contract expires this winter, he wasnt gonna resign with Tigers. So they figured they would get at least 3 players in return, and Price gets a chance to pitch with a team that can make playoffs
Well, in that sense isn't everyone who seeks to do well in her/his job and advance her/his employer's interests not doing it to protect her/his job?I don't know....looks like to me, a GM making deals to save his job.
