The only disappointment last night was that the Yankees and Boston both won. Boston now top.

Toronto's starting line up has best record (at 7 - 2) in AL. Confirms what some have been saying for somewhile that's their great strength this season. Early days of cause. I'm just hoping they don't have any more bad luck with injuries like last season.

I have no idea why Accardo went after the Cat with nothing but fastballs? he is NOT a power hitter but he IS a great hitter and has been a good contact hitter you pitch him nothing but baseballs and....well he will hit it out

I am the only one who is pissed off at Gibbons for running out of pitcher in the bottom of the 10th?

Alright, the joke is over... wtf did you do to their pitching staff?

Another shelling for a starter last night. Buchholz can't get thru 4 innings (7 runs) and two arsonists from the BP give up 7 more. This isn't funny, take the pins out of the dolls........slowly hand it over to me. We can work this out :(

Losing after 14 innings must be the worse possible result. On balance it would have been better if they hadn't equalised.

They don't seem to be the same team at home as on the road. Weird.

Good news was that Baltimore and Boston lost lost othewise Jays would have fallen further behind.

They wouldn't like me on there. They already tried to run my ass off the Boston Globe.

You Jays fans are lucky to have a guy like doc .... another complete game last night. Yes I know he took the loss, but the guy is a freaking stud. 2 complete games already, he averages 8.25 IP/Game.

Sox finally got a long outing from Beckett last night - 8 innings. The others can barely go 5. Some nights the relievers go longer than the starters.

all of the sudden the Jays have forgotten how to manufacture a run, they are no longer advancing runners via bunting or playing little ball
Seems like that's something they only do on the road. At home they only seem interested in knocking the ball out of the stadium.

Thomas very disappointing last few games.

How much longer do we have to watch Frank Thomas (aka the Big Whiff) flail helplessly at fastballs? JP needs to swallow his immense pride and realize Matt Stairs would make a better DH which in turn helps the TEAM! It's obvious who is calling the shots and it ain't Gibby! We cannot wait for Frank to get hot in mid-August and then have JP smugly claim "his numbers were there at the end". Enough already!

Looks like 6 losses in a row now at home. Tonight's probable loss down to Frasor (what a surprise, not) and Accardo who doesn't look the same pitcher at all this season. Bullpen all of a sudden a big weak spot.

Usual poor performance by Thomas.

Some changes needed.

is the Jay's bottom of the 8th and Stairs just got awarded second on a single and an error with no out

why the f@ck didn't barajas played a bunt to move him to third??? f@cking Gibbons is really getting on my nerves

B.J. could have come in with a 2-run cushion instead of one
You can't really blame the coach, J.P. Ricciardi doesn't like small ball and doesn't believe in it.
