Miles released a live concert album (titled "Four & More") with a version of "So What" that is almost twice as fast compared to the "Kind of Blue" version. The live version will demonstrate what a great player he is. I highly recommend this as a must hear to everyone.

Another trumpet player worth mentioning is Freddie Hubbard.

Offenbach eh.

I was raised on classical music, my knowledge of jazz is very limited. For a piece that was released in the early 70's, the recording of this is exceptional - still have the vinyl.

Is this considered Brazilian classical - jazz?
