I apologize if I did mislabel you as a CCP admirer. As I said it was just an impression and I could be wrong. I guess when you’re so entrenched in a political view your vision can be blurred and lead to wrong assumptions. That’s why I think we should weight on each issue or subject matter on its only merit and don’t let our preconceived notions dictate our attitude in posting our views.

By refusing to attempt to prove that your statement is not racist, you are tacitly agreeing that my assessment is correct. It is a harsh accusation that someone would want refuted. Yes.
Multiple sources, including the bible of NHL contracts have reported for days that Hall has a NMC in his deal with the Buffalo Sabres.
One might easily/fairly doubt an initial report from say, NBCSports, or TSN (for 2 random examples) or even CapFriendly.
When multiple reputable media sources report the same information in a matter such as this, and stand by their report(s), it's incredibly unlikely that they've all got it wrong.
These are not fan-based blogs, throwing stuff against the wall to see if it'll stick, but professional, reputable sources.
To think otherwise is absurd, at minimum.
I don't really think a trade is a realistic concern, even if it turns out he doesn't have NT/NM clause. If you're going to tee up a player for $8M for a single season, you're confident in your expectations he'll be worth it, and won't be thinking late season trade - you'll be thinking deep playoff run. If he doesn't perform to the tune and it's so bad you want to get rid of the guy, everyone else will have seen the poor performance and won't want him as a late season addition anyway.More Taylor Hall stories.

In any case, this is a TML thread, so not really going to beat a Buffalo Sabres problem to death here.
More interesting will be to see if Jumbo Joe can be landed in Toronto. If I'm Dubas, I'm making sure I'm stroking Joe's dick on a very regular basis to persuade him life with the buds will be nothing but amazing for him.
If Buffalo does make a deep playoff run, then that would be bad news for the Leafs as both teams are in the same Eastern Conference.

Maybe it wasn't because of the colour of their skin, but because of their height. Maybe Darts is short. He didn't specify as to what the difference was. You maybe right, you maybe wrong. I don't like to brand anyone a racist unless they actually say I don't like whoever because they are black/white etc. You can go down a rabbit hole with things like this. I know you're the Nitpicker and that's fine just be careful what you label people unless you really know what's in their heart. Maybe he doesn't like, enjoy or relate to the culture around the NBA. That's not racist. Now if he didn't like the league just because the majority of players are black then that is racist. A lot of black people don't like the NHL. It's not because they are racist. Most NHL'ers are from small towns or European countries and black people can't relate to them.
Maybe. But until he gives an answer, we can only speculate. I speculate that it was a racist comment. He has not denied it. As such, I can only assume that I am correct.

That doctrine applies in a court of law. Unfortunately for the accused in a court of public opinions such as this forum, the jurors form their opinions and judge the accused based on circumstantial or superficial evidence and the accused is put into a difficult position where he has to defend himself by explaining. This happens to even the most powerful people in the world. That’s why we have to be careful in what we say or do in this society of political correctness to avoid getting trapped, especially when it involves racism.
