You Americans always claim that USA is the best, but have to scrounge the internet to find countries doing worse than USA.
Why not compare with the best?
Its on the news everyday.
Who is scrounging anything? Many countries are doing worse than the USA in many things. Just watch real news.
Ooppps, I forgot CNN only Trump bashes daily. Nothing else to be offered from them. I see the issue now.
Of course, many countries are doing much worse than USA on many issues.
Also many countries are doing much worse than Germany and Denmark and Netherlands and Ireland on many issues.
But only Americans claim that USA is the best in everything.
Sure, you can look for all sorts of excuses. Remember that the POTUS in charge was at one time saying that we have 10 cases now, and in a few days time it will be down to zero. There were all sorts of Socializing etc by the New Yorkers in places like their Night Clubs, those returning from the Florida Beaches etc. We have the homeless in cities like Vancouver where this is no Social distancing and it is beginning to have some effects now but not as bad as The USA. A lot of blame has to go to the testing that they conducted in The USA. They were well behind and are beginning to catch up now. But the new dumb measures by States like Georgia that was once praised by Trump, and then reversed the next day, probably after getting a scolding from his Medical experts, will now only exacerbate that situation. Thankfully, we do not have that level of stupidity in Canada with any of the Provincial Premiers!!

You totally missed the point which was why OTB, who loves to brag about how great the U.S. is, only points to "less great" countries doing worse as his defense. Of course his defense is totally blown away when one sees that there are "less great" countries that are doing a better job.
The #'s in the US are being skewed by two states - New York and New Jersey. Both Democrat run and both woefully unprepared for this outbreak.

I understand per capita statistics just fine. Do you understand how population density of geographic areas are the primary driver of infection spread and deaths?
Then 'murica must be the most densely populated place on the planet, because they are currently NUMBER 1 in infections and deaths.
