4 - Nations Tournament

I have an older Team Canada jersey that I wore to go grocery shopping. I didn't put a jacket over top. I did get several comments and Go Canada Go, but not from the couple of very cute young girls at Loblaws or the early 20's bank teller with a killer tight body.

I did blow a chance, though. As we were finishing up, I thought she asked me if there was anything else today I needed to do, so I just said no. Actually she asked if I was doing anything else today. I really don't think that she was suggesting anything, just being nice and making small talk. But if I'd immediately realized what her words were, I would have said, "only if I get a good offer". I only heard the "anything else today".

I'll make sure to make future bank visits on Thursday afternoons. She was sweeeet.

We want Finland to beat Sweden in this one. It at least ensures that Canada will control its destiny in the tournament while it plays Finland on Tuesday (even if it loses tonight)

If Canada loses tonight, the scenario is far more dire if Sweden wins today. Canada would then need a US playing without urgency on Tuesday, to beat a Swedish team playing with urgency.
