Whenever Robertson handles the puck in his own end it's like a live grenade.
Benoit needs a partner to do the puck handling. Hence OEL.
Leafs get hemmed in their own zone at times when they can't make the plays to get the puck out when they have it on their sticks under pressure. Then they're tired and it gets worse.

I do like his style though - he can make things happen but agree about the grenade comment .

Carolina. Leafs beat them last game 6 to 3

Marner ain't going anywhere, he will resign.

Marner will price himself out of Toronto. Treliving saw what the Avalanche were able to do once they rid themselves of Rantenan's contract. Knies should be priority number one for the Leafs.

Leafs are now the heaviest team in the League.
They went after Rantanen, another big player and a proven playoff performer.
The last 7 cup winners were predominantly big heavy teams.
Florida was middle of the pack but they hit and were mean and nasty.

Jets at plus 1000 is most enticing. They have the best goalie in the league, one of the top defenses in the league and a balanced attack led by Kyle Connor 94 points and Mark Scheifele 85 points. Scheifele is still bitter about being left off of Team Canada at the 4 Nations. I like when players play with chips on their shoulder. The West is so tough though with Dallas, Colorado and Vegas to get through.

Can't activate Max P and Kampf is still injured. Going with 5 D. They then play in Carolina at 5 pm on Sunday.
Carolina has nothing to play for so they may take it easy. Leafs got a break with Detroit beating TB in OT.
