Well one thing is a fact
..US is carrying the brunt of the finances of NATO. He may want to opt out if most members don't even honor their pledges.
USA should pay the entire cost of NATO. It is a tool for their empire, and the weapons they force the vassals to buy are overpriced by a factor of 5.

maybe reconsider peace with Russia...go back to the Whitehouse and apologize...
i mean, that's his best option right now...
Trump is not asking him to kiss the ring or something...just consider peace talks...
Nah, Ukraine will get support from the EU.
That will be cash and not second hand equipment with massive restrictions.
trump is too obviously a Putin puppet for Ukraine to work with.

The speculation that Trump is a stooge for Putin is not sound at all, to put it politely. Trump is president of the most powerful country on the planet, connected to the wealthiest and most powerful people on the planet. And he's taking payolla from a second rate power to go against American interests?
Aside from economic interests, if the National Security appartus or intelligence agencies got even a sniff of that he would be dead. They monitor their leaders constantly to make sure.

Having said that, U.S. and Europe courted Ukraine into working them into the E.U. and eventually into NATO, U.S. made this inention explicit. This is what precipitated the invasion. Within the first week or so of the war, Zelensky and Putin had a deal worked in principle and Boris went to Ukraine to "talk" him out of it. Now that the war is unwinnable, Trump is making Zelensky look like the bad guy and throwing him under the bus to save face for the U.S.
Thanks flr the briefing Agent Jello

France and Germany both tried before, maybe if they join forces?

The problem is, that neither country will tolerate a general mobilization.

Asshole Prez Elon Mush with his sidekick Donald Trumputin both backed by their supreme leader Putin are pushing for elections in Ukraine during war time to impose the fix. Putin the master wants a puppet regime installed in Ukraine and Trumputin is the key. What a fucking joke of a US President.

Apparently the Ukrainians they talked to said no way, which is why he's back to cutting Ukraine off.

They did start a CI investigation of Trump as he had Russians coming out of his arse so the fear was there. (There are books and accounts given by former KGB agents, but i am a bit more unsure of that info so i hold back). Particularly as the Mueller investigation continued, not to mention the Trump family's own admissions of taking russian money, of having his campaign manager conversing with russian agents, of him setting up a server to contact russians where they wont be eavesdropped by US intel, lying about their contacts with russia (140 documented contacts) etc. But Rod Rosenstein, the deputy AG, killed it. Not sure why, maybe out of fear if Trump got wind of it he'd kill the Mueller investigation or something like that.

Ukraine is not on the verge of collapse, and it is Russia, not Ukraine, that is losing the attritional war, which makes the Trump administration’s decisions particularly shortsighted and tragic. Ukraine has plenty of cards, even if Trump and Vance cannot see them. If America’s leaders could only bring themselves to put pressure on Russia comparable to what they put on Ukraine, they could help Ukraine achieve something much more like a win.
