Ukraine has never had any mutual defense agreement with anybody.
They did have multiple, contractual security GUARANTEES from Russia and the Unites States... Both delibertely, with malice, foresight and cowardice, reneged on the promises of their respective countries. Neither has integrity and should not be trusted. Hell, the Chief Magat negoriator Trump has already declared his recent USMCA to be worthless. Says whoever negotiated it (him) was an idiot. I agree!
I don't think this is true.
The agreements had no required action by either side, if I recall.
They still haven't answered.
I expect trump will have new orders soon and declare that Ukraine has already broken the ceasefire agreement so it won't happen.
Hundreds of billions can prop anything up for a long time. But they have been bled white. Things are accelerating thats why they agreed to a ceasefire. I doubt russia will agree. Its not in their interest
