Yes, I believe that's the basis of the Executive Order is exactly that. A community can organize a women's soccer league and do whatever they choose. In the U.S, Title IX is the overarching federal law that protects women's sports in educational institutions that receive federal funding.

A community can organize a women's soccer league and do whatever they choose.

I don't think that's correct.

Ideology is important in keeping people on-side while you enact your agenda.
That agenda includes real issues they want to work on, and they are moving on those.
Those just aren't issues like "the price of eggs".
Shaq is making probably one the most puerile "whatabout" cases one can make. The entire why is Trump concerned about this when he could be working on X is just a diversion from the point at hand.

All I have to say is good luck California.

On an interesting note, I can't find Newsom coming out in support of the State's educational bodies defying the EO. Perhaps he will in a day or two.

The US is a backward shit hole and it takes time for them to usually catch up.
So in the next decade or so, you will see this change.
It is a civil rights issue and no matter how much you call it a mental illness, it is going to work out in favour of trans people eventually.
They said the same thing about gay people back in the day as an example.
You should allow yourself some room to retreat from this issue. This is not a Selma March moment.

Rogan has said recently that he is a libertarian.

He also stated that he was unsure of who he was going to vote for until he talked to Elon Musk after he had him on the show.
There's this silly preoccupation on the Left with trying to repudiate anyone who might have nuanced politics. Rogan has a large audience so he has to be put in the right wing box.

I think Rogan has been described as leaning Libertarian. He endorsed Bernie Sanders in 2020.

It isnt going to happen.
Years ago they said that about gay people. Now trans.
They are protected in Canada via law.
Even Pierre won't do anything about that.
You are SOL.
I get it you're a John Money disciple....Leave the kids alone

It isn't whataboutism or a diversion.
It is objectively the truth that this non-issue is far less important than things like healthcare.
I am directly stating that the trans athlete in sports, is a non-issue for which an Executive Order is not necessary even if there is bi-partisan support on principle.

I think you should allow yourself some room to retreat from responding to criticism of the Trump administration's policies as you seem very frustrated, that such criticism is being levied.
I am simply stating that this is a non-issue for which an EO is unnecessary when there are other more important issues to tackle.
I am also stating that these types of EOs will not be successful in their end goal.

One of the primary symptoms of tDS that I listed was an inability to tolerate any criticism of trump and his policies.

These guys keep showing how valid my list is.

If you believe that one of the purposes of Government is to wage culture war, then it is a Federal issue, though.
Which Trump supporters seem to think.
I dont think the government should take sides in a culture war against some of their own citizens.
Defeats the purpose of an elected government that is meant to be for all in the first place.

15 years ago they'd say "Next you'd be supporting bestiality" when talking about gay and lesbian people.
15 years ago?......Who was saying that 15 years ago?

Maybe wherever you were living but not in Canada...Hmmm....I'll speculate you're not from here.
