I doubt this is going to help, he's not going to stop. In 30 days he's going to be back hitting again. This is not about fentanyl, only less than 0.2 % enters from Canada, I'm sure he knows that.
He wanted to believe he could annex Canada. Today, he said it would be the right thing to do, but his side doesn't have the fortitude to follow through and deal with the pain needed. This is why, as of this morning, he was open to negotiations. He was read the riot act today by companies and donors in a panic, and there will not be any future tariffs coming, is my guess. I just hope Canadians continue to look elsewhere and only try to buy Canadian.

Turns out all it takes to make Trudeau act like a real leader is a few well-placed tariffs. Suddenly, Canada cares about border security. Suddenly, they care about fentanyl. Suddenly, they’re throwing $1.3 BILLION at the border like they just realized it exists. But just like that Trump gives them 30 days to prove they can follow through before the tariffs hit again. Canada could have done all this years ago, but they waited until their economy was on the chopping block… Incredible. Almost like they never actually cared—until it hurt their pockets.

You have trouble knowing the facts, Mitchy. Do a Google search on the 1.3 billion to see when it was first mentioned. Yes, I want folks like you deported, sorry.

Even if the tariffs never happen, the relations between USA and Canada will take a long time to recover.

And we will remember who argued for the other side.
This is very bad for America. No more eggs all in one basket approach.

My spending habits won't be delaying 30 days. I'll be avoiding as much American goods as possible.

Remember late last week there was a Reuters report that tariffs were bring delayed a month that the white house quickly denied? What a coincidence eh? This whole clown show was planned. No one with critical thinking skills should believe the reasons for tariffs the US presented. I hope we continue to diversify trade and most importantly I hope we keep up the newfound pride in Canada and Canadian businesses.

Sad state of affairs. Only Canadians could be so befuddled to be mad at the leader of another country for putting his country's best interest as his priority. Why do you think they elected him in the first place? 🤦‍♂️ Trump's playing chess, Trudeau's playing checkers.

Mad dog is on the loose. It can come back in a month or in a year.

The key is to develop trade with the BRICS countries. See how it helped us to follow USA's demand to punish China.

They elected him because they are fucking idiots and because Dems dropped the ball. And his best interest is his priority and not his fucking country.

He could be back threatening tariffs in 2 or 3 days. You don't know with this madman. He is well aware that the US Supreme Court will allow him to loosely define "national emergencies" in order to push along whatever he wants to bypass congress.
