Genocides are not always acknowledged as genocides.
The Armenian Genocide is a good example.
And that is one where there is no controversy today.
The Palestinian case is contentious (to put it lightly).
It is also harder to prove especially because genocidal intent needs to be proven and there needs to be worldwide consensus.
Both haven't happened.

If Holocaust studies have been used to create an exceptional status and that has formed any part of the rationale for Israel’s genocide, then they should be suspended and revamped.
