It's under appeal. The outcome can give us answers about the Judge's objectivity.
As I said earlier, D.A. Bragg also will face the electorate in an election. He could be under pressure not because New Yorkers resoundingly like Trump but rather because some challenger can easily say why have you been spending a lot of our money on a case that has practically gone nowhere.
What I like about some of these things is that there is clearly a system in place. No offense, but the system tells us what's actually happening not some guy on social media.

Now the election is over, Judge Merchan might want this to just fade away. That's what I have been reading from even less histrionic media outlets.
This forum could get very boring if we cited the Judge's commentary. Judge Merchan actually is entitled to provide personal commentary about the "convicted", but it also shows how he feels about Trump. In this situation, it probably would have been best for him to not engage in anything that would put is words in the political arena.

We have low inflation, low unemployment and reasonable growth.
The big issues are now provincial, like DoFo cutting $20 billion from Ontario healthcare and fining people $10,000 for being homeless and poor.
When January 6th investigations was about Violence, including the beatings of policemen who ultimately lost their lives is considered to be a "Sham", then those who believe it is are condoning the violence that occurred.
