Court decisions are about as real as you get. Multiple court decisions means its not just one biased trial or shoddy lawyers.
Most people argue that people elected as leaders should be held to higher standards, not lower standards.
But then again, right wingers are more tribal and don't care about standards as much as power.
I just wish that people would look around and see what has happened when populists like trump have been put in power, its not like he's unique.

I’m South Vietnamese, maybe this helps for context idk. I have recent ancestors who were publicly beheaded by communists and my last ancestral homes were burnt into the ground. Mausoleums of my ancestors desecrated dating back to 1750 so there would be no record of what belonged to us. All so that everyone could be “equal”. All because of people who can’t stand the wealthy (landowners at the time). You think all these leftist tendencies are “empathetic” until there’s a gun to your head. It’s not a joke, man. You can just be free to fight about it online here and now. You never had to fight for your life to escape the tyranny of the left. I didn’t either, but it’s a part of my heritage and I was raised a certain way.

I didn't say anything about you being brainwashed, I said that for the MAGA types here its generally just about tribalism and not morality at all. You identify with a group, you identify with a leader and if people attack the leader you defend your leader. Rules aren't important, power and control are.
I don't know the history of Vietnam other than understanding that the US war was just as much a disaster as communism as was previous colonialism. Is it better to just jump on board another colonial empire and hope to be on the winning end? Same with the comments about other populist leaders, really, most political methods have been tried elsewhere and you can look around to see when they work or where you think they failed. The UK tried populism under Boris J, Italy and Brazil went through populist phases. Argentina is run by a populist as is Hungary. Is there anywhere else where similar leaders with similar goals have fixed the issues you want fixed?
