Court decisions are about as real as you get. Multiple court decisions means its not just one biased trial or shoddy lawyers.
Most people argue that people elected as leaders should be held to higher standards, not lower standards.
But then again, right wingers are more tribal and don't care about standards as much as power.
I just wish that people would look around and see what has happened when populists like trump have been put in power, its not like he's unique.

I don't know the history of Vietnam other than understanding that the US war was just as much a disaster as communism as was previous colonialism. Is it better to just jump on board another colonial empire and hope to be on the winning end? Same with the comments about other populist leaders, really, most political methods have been tried elsewhere and you can look around to see when they work or where you think they failed. The UK tried populism under Boris J, Italy and Brazil went through populist phases. Argentina is run by a populist as is Hungary. Is there anywhere else where similar leaders with similar goals have fixed the issues you want fixed?

Similarly to the previous post, there have been lots of times historically when the divide between rich and poor has reached the levels we see now. Its never ended happily when it does end.
Billionaires get rich gaming the system, Elon and trump's investors lose their shirts while the both of them rake in cash. Here and in the US we could fix homelessness and health care just by taxing them fairly. Really, we should give every billionaire a plaque saying they won capitalism and then tax everything they make over a billion. Nobody needs more than a billion.

If you think what trump offers is truly unique and nobody has ever elected a corrupt billionaire before, or never elected someone who wants to ban immigrants, or never elected anyone with policies like Project 2025, you can go for it.
