Maybe just have some respect for the history of your chosen profession and those "SJWs" who have tried to fight hard for your rights as a sexworker.
You are really showing your intelligent and mature ability to discuss issues here.
I was going to join in on the debate between you and Josephine, but if this is how you respond, there is no point and zero chance of meaningful conversation.
Really?
Are you guys both literally this mentally handicapped that you could not detect I have non-trivial formal education about this topic? Tell me about the history — you two both lost your shit about what I said about girls who work on the street. You don’t know anything about the history.
Do even know
why prostitution laws were changed to protect us? It was because of Robert Pickton and they were trying to show that women on the street are many times more likely to get murdered. Secondarily just being out on the street in your communities causes negative relationships with other residents and causes SWs more stigmatization.
It is ALWAYS in SW best interests to be off the streets. And you lecture me about compassion and ask me why I think I’m better? Maybe I am better because I am educated to not be fighting for women to be standing in the streets peddling pussy.
Did you not see that I implied had the history of Toronto’s urban planning according to how they were organizing/limiting the spaces of prostitution from the literal 80s? Of course you didn’t see that. Because you don’t know anything about the legal history and development of prostitution legislation in Canada.
I was just going to let her live, and you had to come make it worse.
YO, your reading comprehensions were so bad that you thought I didn’t know what decriminalization vs. legalization is despite me implying the relevant case studies, one of them now longitudinal, that said the outcomes of decriminalization in New Zealand weren’t as good as they thought. Do you know the importance of New Zealand? Finland? Anywhere else? It’s now 2024 hoes, I know you can’t read but can you count? Because you sent me articles that were a decade old and not salient. Decriminalization, and anything approximating it had poor outcomes.
You want to tell me about the sex workers who FOUGHT for ME? Do you know who they are? Do you know who the top three academic experts in Ontario who helped those advocacy groups do what they did? Do you know who the lawyers were? Do you even know what was wrong with Bill C49 and what a win that was? Can you cite to me even ONE section on C-36, where something critical from Bedford had been revoked?
One ”basic human right” or even protection that has been lost?
What is the predominantly held view on trafficking? Who said it?
Don’t tell me to have respect when you couldn’t even be bothered to learn anything about the shit you were regurgitating.
Get over it. Fuck off. And stop challenging me. I’ve never seen such an astounding case of Dunning Kruger or brainrot
