If you really want to be offended, you should find and post Hinchcliffe's Puerto Rico joke which doesn't really land. Republican leaders basically said it was a terrible joke and denounced it. These things will happen when you fill an arena and mix entertainment with politics.
It was posted right here for everyone's viewing pleasure! Republican leaders, hmmmm, what about Trump and Vance, has either of them denounced it? If so, please provide the link. I do suspect Trump will in a lack luster fashion denounce it from fear of losing some Latino votes.

I also hope he brings more comedians making jokes about watermelon, maybe a fried chicken off-the-cuff remark, I think it's a great idea to do more of this before Nov, 5th.

There goes the Latino vote.

"Puerto Rico is a floating island of garbage"

and with that, bye bye Latino vote

Listening to him he's calm and having a conversation with Joe. Joe is sucking up to him and feeding him very easy questions and I'm sure he was told by Joe and his team to just have a conversation. He lying as always but doing it very calmly. He's actually doing well but this podcast won't change anyone's mind. The Trump voters are going to still vote for him and the Harris voters are not, it will come down to which base gets most of their voters out and which candidate picks up most of the undecided if any are left.
I think it is mostly a soft win for Trump.

He didn't fuck up wildly and provide some kind of viral clip that made him look terrible.

It was about what I expected - pretty boring and with no real news value. Lots of lying and no real fact checking. People will view it as good or bad based on how they already feel about how Trump talks and what he says.

Would it convince someone to switch votes in either direction? I doubt it a lot.

But it may have shored up someone who mostly wanted to vote Trump but was doubting after some recent news reports that "yeah, it's ok to go ahead and vote the way I wanted to in the first place".

And that's not nothing.

So it isn't going to move the needle much but may help stop him from losing some votes.
That's useful to him.

Yeah, I completely agree and it already seems the interview has lost the media's attention and all have moved on.

From a tactical perspective, I think Kamala let this dance with Rogan corner her into a bad position. If she doesn't go on, she looks weak. If she does go on, she now looks desperate.

Her campaign should have determined earlier that she was going to do the show or not do the show. Then she should have just stuck with that decision.
The question then would be who leaked to the press that she was in talks with Rogan to do the show?
As mentioned, Rogan had refused Trump many times before this, so what made Rogan change his mind?

I know it's not your intention to offend anyone with generalizations. However, Latinos don't really identify as a group beyond a connection to the Spanish language and perhaps some food ingredients.

So if you offend Puerto Ricans, Mexican-Americans, Cuban-Americans, Venezolano-Americans are not really going to react.

As far as the island of Puerto Rico, it is a fucked up and corrupt island. It has the bad government curse of its Spanish colonial legacy. It's propped up by U.S. government money and mainland Americans who buy homes and spend money.

Apart from it's dire political situation, it's really quite beautiful. Before you slide down the Puerto Rican independence track, most Boricua know they couldn't really thrive without U.S. support and ties.

Better than showing a lack of reading comprehension.
It's amazing how you got owned by your own post, but just can't suck it up.

Here are two more articles where it is proven he worked for multiple defense contractors prior to being Trump's chief of staff.

Including a failure to disclose them.

How your reading comprehension?

I don't know. My point still stands. You probably don't want to flirt with doing the Rogan podcast unless you really want to do it. Everything leaks these days.

Just after Trump was on, Rogan was asked by some comedian panelists is she coming. He said they are still talking. They asked two, three hours? He didn't think that long. They joked 22 minutes. Rogan quickly responded that it would have to be an hour.

Now we don't know what this response actually means, but one might surmise Rogan and Harris' team are talking and the length of time is a negotiating point.

There are absolutely Muslims voting for Trump.
There are even Muslims voting for Trump because of Gaza.
There were Muslims who voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020.

It's amazing how the Republican Party has morphed into the sane progressive party.

The seismic shift happened because of Trump.
The level of disconnect from reality you have is s-tier.

You would be wrong.
I disagree. I know a lot of people. The only ones I know that are raising the fascist issue never voted for Trump in 2016 or 2020.

I'm sure there are a very small group of people that are persuaded by this argument. However, the polling strongly suggests the argument that Democracy is under threat is not landing.

If anything, "Fascist", "Hitler" are great rallying cries to motivate liberal voters. And because the Democrats have put this into the news, the liberal media echo chamber can repeat this over and over again in their newscasts for the next week.

I don't think clips went viral in either direction.
I certainly haven't noticed anything that is THE CLIP from the show

But who says she didn't really want to do it?

They couldn't schedule it.
Should people have not leaked it if they were in even very preliminary talks?
Maybe not.
The question is who did that?

Just after Trump was on, Rogan was asked by some comedian panelists is she coming. He said they are still talking. They asked two, three hours? He didn't think that long. They joked 22 minutes. Rogan quickly responded that it would have to be an hour.

Which is what I have assumed seemed the most likely issue. Scheduling.

Trump is perfectly happy making his rally wait for three hours.
She is not.
So she has been looking for a shorter time (especially since I don't think Rogan would ever do a podcast remotely).

NEW: MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski looks as if she is going to start crying while whining about how “discouraging” it is to see so many people rally at MSG “to hate.” Lmao. These clowns are so fake. “I think a lot of people are seeing that rally at Madison Square Garden. Seeing all those people doesn't mean he is gonna win the race.” “But my point is, it's discouraging that so many people would gather and rally to hate to hate speech in America.” “That it's discouraging and it hurts that people who have family in Puerto Rico, who are Puerto Rican Americans, who are American citizens, are hearing hate like that. It, it's discouraging. “It's, oh my gosh, how did we get here? How did we get here? Well, of course, where a stadium of people come to hate. That's a different country, a different time.”

15 signs Trump is going to win barring a black swan event: 1. LA Times refused to endorse a candidate first time in 20 years. 2. WAPO (Bezos) refusing to endorse Kamala. Bezos wants more conservative writers at WAPO. 3. Celebrity endorsements are backfiring instead of working like they once did. 4. Trump’s ONE interview with Rogan got more views than all of Kamala’s interviews did COMBINED. 5. Mainstream media stopped talking policies instead using fear porn to win. (Nazi + Hilter) 6. Republicans are leading early voting which rarely happens. 7. Tech CEO’s are calling Trump, not Harris. (Tim Cook) 8. European stocks have dropped 7% since late September due to fear of Trump’s Tariffs. 9. Democrats are losing both the Jewish and the Muslim vote. WOW!!!!! 10. Trump Rallies in Blue states bringing in record breaking attendance (Coachella 100k + MSG record breaking attendance) 11. Kamala has lost the black vote. She’s doing worst than Clinton, Obama, Hilary or Biden…. And she’s ‘allegedly’ black. 12. AOC and Tim Waltz playing Madden streaming on Twitch. Final score ended 0-0. Desperation at the highest level. 13. From April to September Trump branded merch on amazon sold $140m versus $26m of Kamala. 14. Steel workers union in Pennsylvania endorsed Trump. Border patrol union endorses Trump 15. Last but not least, Putin endorsed Kamala.

NEW: Ballot box lit on fire in Vancouver, Washington with hundreds of ballots reportedly inside. The incident happened shortly after 4 a.m. after smoke was seen coming out of the ballot box. The last ballot pickup at the location was nearly 24 hours earlier meaning there were likely hundreds of ballots inside. Only a handful were saved according to KATU2. Voters who dropped their ballots off at the location are being told to "contact the Election Auditor's Office IMMEDIATELY for a new ballot."
