we already have one

it's called a CAR

1. get rid of all woke politicians who want us to ride bicycles in the dead of winter, in -20 degrees C and a foot of snow

2. get rid of all stupid bike lanes on all major roads

3. synchronize all traffic light using Waze

4. limit road construction to only one road in each direction at a time

5. limit road construction to only one project a time, work on it 24/7 and then move on to the next

I think Juanny is volunteering their own personal vehicle to become public transportation. I call "shotgun"!

Lol I have 3 plus 2 for my business, thanks. You were the one saying your personal car was public transportation, so back up your words, comrade.

sure you do :ROFLMAO:

how many bicycles do you have?
Just 1 but as I don't live in the city, it's just for exercise. A concept that I'm sure is foreign to you. Lol.

A car isn't a perfect mode of transportation but in many cases its the best. Toronto is woefully under tracked. The city encompasses 630 square km and only has 70 km of subway track. In contrast Vienna, Austria is 415 square km in area and has over 83 km of track. Paris is only 105 square km but has a whopping 246 km of subway line. Of course its population density is far greater than ours but their 14 lines of subway reach every part of the city limits.

So until our public transit advocates understand this reality enough of demonizing drivers in Toronto. We need our cars plain and simple.

Haven't European cities been more open to public transportation because the cost of owning a car in Europe been so high?
Cost of fuel for some reason has always been high.

Number 3 is the worst cause of traffic congestion.

I think the reason Europe invest heavily in public transportation is one tourism is a big part of their economy and two it doesn't have as much land as North America does do build roads. That's why many of their projects are underground.

Public transportation in Canada mainly Ontario is all talk. It's politicians trying to make the public believe they are doing something when they are just blowing smoke. Downtown relief line was suppose to built 30 years ago. Same with a 5 stop Eglington subway which is now a delayed massively over budget LRT. Metrolinx is just a vacuum for public money.

Do that and you make more people drive and make the roads way more crowded.

Not to forget that London (UK) has an underground network of 470.6 Km. You just do not need a car to get around that city when you visit it.
They have toll charges once you enter within a certain area of Central London. Does not make it worth it driving into the city centre. Their Oyster cards are really worth it to travel around the city and suburbs with intensive interconnecting Underground lines that make travelling to various towns a breeze!!

Make bike lanes any less safe and people will get back in their cars.

1 bus = 70 SUV's on the road.

You want 700,000 more driving trips on toronto's roads?
No it doesn't. You have bad math skills and no concept of reality. 70 people fill a bus standing load. You really want to be standing on a crowded bus and be late for work. And not everybody drives an SUV.

he doesn't work so he wouldn't know :)

also very few people actually commute to work on a bicycle

if you can bike to your work then you can walk there instead

if it very far and you "have to" ride your bike by the time you get to work you will be sweaty, wet or cold
