Because calling for a ceasefire has not worked and will not unless Hamas returns the hostages. Have you ever thought, maybe if Hamas returned the hostages Israel will withdraw, then peacefully negotiate the next steps? At this stage there is no such thing as Apartheid or what ever your bitching about because it's irrelevant now, people are dying and you need that to stop first. If Hamas decides to return the hostages and Israel continues to shell the Palestinians, shame on them.
