Bill maher in his most recent episode referred to data showing that about 60% on men under 30 identify as single while only about 30% of women under 30 do. He said “I didn’t know that there’s so many lesbians” but jokes aside it has got to be something else.
I believe that it’s mostly because men over 30 (not captured by the data) are dating women under 30. Nothing unhealthy about that really and gives us all hope
Also maybe because small segment of “alpha” males date multiple women and all women who “know their worth” compete for those same men. That does seem a bit unhealthy. But like Louis ck said: if you feel bad for unfuckable people you can go ahead and fuck them.

LOL Yeah you can usually weed out the scams with a bit of casual chat, the red flags do pop up pretty quickly don’t they?

I’ve enjoyed some of the back and forth sometimes, and it’s given me a good feeling about the vibe a real interaction might have. If a girl can communicate on full sentences at least you know she might be able to hold a conversation over a drink. Many times I’ve been correct in the long run. But often one or two messages is enough to tell me I’m wasting my time and energy.

I’m surprised by this as well. Usually I’ve hooked up with a SB for the first time in a hotel, and maybe if she’s able we’ve met subsequently at her place. I’d never even considered that girls would be willing to have me in their apartment the first time we’ve gotten down to business, but several have been perfectly fine with it. I’d have thought the heightened awareness of personal safety vs. risk these days would make this a non starter for most women.

As with other things like social media or sharing personal details with me unprompted, the openness of young woman these days astounds me.

Their openness often is so profoundly dumb that I can only see it a a sign of mental illness. But that applies to all of young women, not necessarily SBs.
