Sure. Isn't it amazing how what Congress did was legal? Who made the laws up? Who voted to fund the office?

Do you think sexual harassment suits by Congressional interns would have an effect on reelection? And paying them off should be a campaign expense?
Things you would spend money on regardless of whether or not there is a campaign aren't campaign expenses.

I think they like the Republican conservative agenda and Christian fundamentalism. I don't think they give a shit about Trump.
Depends on who.
Alito has pretty much become pure Fox grandpa.

Some of the others will make decisions based on partisanship as well, which can include Trump depending on the situation.

I'm not predicting this is going to happen. Just that ruling it out because there isn't a good reason it should get to SCOTUS is premature.

Trump and Avenatti have now become Birds of the Same Feather:

After all Avenatti has a Trump like record:

Supreme Court rejects lawyer Michael Avenatti's appeal in Nike fraud case
The jailed lawyer, who previously represented adult film star Stormy Daniels, was convicted of trying to extort Nike.

Listen has Biden been convicted in any Court of Law of "Genocide" like you claim? These are just protesters who are protesting against The USA's support of Israel who are conducting the killing of the Palestinian women and children. At least Biden has called for a ceasefire, unlike the Republicans who want Israel to pursue it till the very end even if it involves the annihilation of all those in Gaza if that is the only way to "Eliminate" Gaza!!

Trump on the other hand is a Criminal. Once again you are lying!!
When I said Biden is known as "Genocide Joe" you attacked me and said that wasn't true.

I proved it was indeed true.

Now you're back-peddling making excuses why people are calling him Genocide Joe.

Jeezus.

Listen Skoob, I disputed your theory when you came up with this statement in the first place:

Every democrat supporter on here knows deep down that this verdict has done nothing but help Trump win in Nov. You can argue all you want but considering Genocide Joe is faltering massively, you know it to be true.

I'm just happy he will run and the Dems have failed to prevent that despite weaponizing the justice system against him.
Where was there any evidence to protesters in the first place to that statement of yours? Of course you as a biased right winger will take any opportunity to blast a Democrat based on what a few protesters chant. My point is that there has been zero evidence to back up that statement of yours. Whereas, Trump has been criminally convicted in a Court of Law. Big difference.......okay!!

The second statement of yours that the Democrats "weaponizing the justice system against him" is once again FAKE and A HUGE LIE spread by the Far Right propaganda!!

Prove that is a fact as well?

And a porn star payoff isn't?

How many times and how many ways will it take for you and fellow Trumptards to understand that he was charged and convicted of business fraud for falsifying business records.

The crime was not fucking a porn star and paying her off.

The crime was not prosecuted as an campaign funding violation.

The crime was falsely categorizing and recording the payment made to Stormy Daniels for her keeping her mouth shut, as LAWYERS FEES that were paid to his lawyer Michael Cohen for legal services NOT rendered.

It is money laundering. Trump washed his payment to Daniels through Cohen.

Business' may not falsify their business records. Deliberately doing so is a fraud and a felony in the State of New York. And probably illegal in every other jurisdiction in the US and Canada... and elsewhere. His other business' and charities were also sued civilly for fraud. This time, his fingerprints were all over it.

He is a known fraud artist and his frothing cult followers don't even deny that. They just think that the law shouldn't be enforced against their Cult Leader.

The only reason (beside being a media hit) that the porn part comes into it was because hiding that was the personal motive behind accounting for it as such, instead of "legal fees". Trump even paid double the amount to cover Cohen's personal income tax he'd have to declare for his services rendered.

Had Trump just recorded it as a "shareholder loan" or "personal benefit" he wouldn't be charged.

But Trump is incapable of playing anything straight. He lies about things he has no need to lie about. Fuck, he makes up things that don't benefit him in any way! It's pathological. He does believe his own lies and lives in an alternate reality.

And if Trump deducted this payment as "Legal, Accounting and other Professional Fees" in his corporate tax returns, when in fact the money paid was for his own personal gain, that is tax fraud. Both State and Federal.

I'm waiting for the other shoe hammers to drop. There are plenty of people in prison for tax fraud for far less than Trump paid Stormy Daniels. The paper evidence in this case alone would result in charges and conviction of anyone else. I think the opposite of you Trumptards have been brainwashed. I think the current administration is afraid to prosecute Trump because it only enrages the craziness of his blind devotees of his Cult of personality. And they have proven they can be more dangerous and deadly the United States than alll of the Muslim extremists that they are so worried about.

That's fine. And the perception matters far more. Its an election. That is always the point. I clearly said before he was guilty. I had no doubt about that. My thought has always been IS IT WORTH IT TO THE DEMOCRATS. Because it is also clearly politically motivated. To deny that is to deny reality. Both sides of the aisle always look the other way both in and out if office when they can. And set the laws up to facilitate that.

I think it costs them. Just a bit. A few more thousand votes in swing states that moves that needle a bit closer. Americans hate the legal system. It's ingrained in them. The rhetoric around this.

In a few months he will be on stage somewhere in front of tens of thousands, and anyone who just looks at headlines will see the guy "convicted" of mislabeling a ledger item to get rid of a sex scandal and ask what the big deal was when nothing really happened to him. And it won't mean dick in November.

What will will be their bank balance, gas prices, the grocery bill, the homeless encampment they drive past, the crazy activists saying/teaching weird shit to their kids, and answering the question, are they better right now?

The answer in their minds is what will matter. Us wonks that follow that political shit won't be the deciding vote.

First off, whining about political corruption and then crying when Trump gets caught (because it was also a campaign finance offence to not declare it) is rich.

Second, as has been demonstrated time and again, individual STATES and their elected STATE officials have their own agenda. It is almost always in conflict with the Federal gov'ts. Are you saying that Alvin Bragg was directed by Biden to go after Trump? Who do you thingk Biden is... Donald Trump?

And do you think that Alvin Bragg is going to walk away from another case he has against the same fraudster, this time water-tight, because he thinks it will negatively affect Trump's popularity? YOU and *I* could foresee Trump taking advantage of it to raise money, and drum up his victimhood driven popularity becoming a martyr to his disciples. You think a guy who managed to get elected District Attorney in Manhattan didn't foresee that too? Did he give a shit? Doesn't look like it.

Besides, if Trump wins because he's a convicted fraudster and runs the country into the ground, his loser base is going to suffer more than the more wealthy. But thos fuckwads are just praying for a civil war so they can finally shoot someboady with one of their fucking assault rifles.

American's were always considered a bit off by the rest of the world. With the level of support Trump has among the entire nation, outsiders (except a few Canadians) think they are fucking idiots. I have LOTS of friends and clients around the world. One of the first things they ask me is wtf is going on with Americans? Is what we are reading and hearing true that almost half of the country really can't see what a fraudster conman and inept President he was the first time?

If you don't think that Da's use the position as a springboard to higher office you are stupid. And if you don't think Bragg will use this to get a safe nomination to Washington you are again stupid. This is State level politics at it finest. The case was specifically targetted. Please don't try to say otherwise. You don't need a meeting to get here. You just need a concencus of opinion. They all go to the same schools, have membership in the same clubs, attend the same parties. When goals align quid pro quo and nepotism are the result

But its because they don't understand Trump. They brought the charges BECAUSE ANYONE ELSE IT HURTS THEM. But not Trump. Trump is the big fuck you. People don't vote for Trump because they think he will do better. They do it to say Fuck you to both parties who are corrupt. They know he is too. But not THEIR CORRUPT guy. They think he isn't owned by either party. He is the loose cannon. The one tht drives them nuts, mocks them, throws a monkey wrench into their plans, whatever else. His supporters watch with glee every time to makes a joke of the system. Thats how bad it is in the USA. That's what you can tell your clients. Its so bad, that half the nation think its better to make it worse and laugh about it.

Because in fact it is.

Must have needed a break after the repeated kicks in the nut he received this week. Must have wanted to be a part of a drunk Trump supporting crowd.

It proves, again, what he really thinks of his cult followers by going to a UFC event to get a boost when thinking people like the Libertarians booed him off the stage.
