If you read their charter and listen to their public statements they do not sound genocidal. They have posted repeated calls for a ceasefire and support for the two state solution. There's more public statements backing genocide these days from Israelis, if you want to confirm, I'll post them. A good number are also listed in the ICJ charges as evidence.
One of the bigger issues here is that most people who are on the Israeli side, and that post was clearly on the Israeli side, refuse to accept that Palestinians deserve full human rights. Like the right to self determination, the right of return and the right to self defence. The UN Rapporteur has repeatedly stated that if you even want to talk about the right to self defence you must start with the fact that as the occupying power Israel does not have the right to self defence against the people they occupy, including Hamas. While Palestinians, under international law and just like Ukraine, have the right to self defence against an illegal occupation.
If you want to find solutions you need to start with rights and the application of the law.
Trying to demonize an entire people to call them 'radical lunatics' to justify genocide is exactly what you are accusing Hamas of doing, but you are doing it to aid the actual commission of genocide.
