Nah. I'd settle for a few riot police.
You've already gotten your wish then.
Pretty sure some have already been called out.

Sadly, like the Kent State shooting, police beating up and even killing students tends to be popular.

If the ceasefire does not happen and the war continues, I wouldn't be surprised if at some point a George Floyd type protest happens.
What do you mean by that?
The cops killing a protester or just the size of the protest reaching 2020 levels?

Why do you believe the students are all extremists and the protests are about terrifying Jewish students?

It's a much more heterogeneous exercise going on.

Classes are over and campuses have had much longer camp out protests in the past before.
Why are you so eager to call in the military and/or police to arrest and beat up the students?

So go right to violence?
Interesting call.
Cotton is calling for the military and for vigilante violence against them
You in for that, too?
Does team Hamas understand any language other than violence?

There you go. There's a little Jew-hate for you.

When you read about a student being killed, tell me. In the meantime, I've seen a lot of fairly restrained cops physically removing a lot of overly entitled, rich, mainly white profs and students who appear to think they can break the law with impunity and yell "foul" when they find out they can't.

I'd like to think that Kent State can't happen again in America. Unlike most of the others on this board, I remember it taking place.

It's a nice, dramatic flex because everybody is doing the "It's like 1968 all over again!" bullshit.

Most people screaming that anti-zionism isn't anti-semitism are the ones desperately trying to convince themselves that they are really a good person despite recognizing the trends of their posts. The rest of the world is aware of there being a difference.

Just a hint; if someone repeatedly claims it Islamophobic to criticize Hamas but is happy complaining that Israel exists, they've gone way over that line.

I see, so you're here arguing that its antisemitic to be against genocide.
That's its racist to protest against killing women and children.

You're doing a great job of painting a really unpleasant picture of your chosen people.

I repeated a quote from both articles, the doctors wrote a letter saying they were zionists and support Israel and then were surprised people were pissed at them.
I posted one article. The 2nd article you are quoting is not what these particular doctors (the harassed ones) wrote. It is the lie that is being spread by those of the campaign to discredit these doctors. But you are doing exactly the same thing as those in the anti-Jewish campaign. DiManno was simply stating the lie that was being spread, but you are now claiming that that lie is the truth.

Are you denying that the doctors wrote a letter declaring their zionism and support of Israel, and that is what caused the trouble?

Not the doctors that are currently the victims of this attack.

Are you denying that Hamas raped women on Oct.7?
Are you denying that Hamas used and are still using civilians as human shields?

Yes, the doctors who wrote the letter declaring they were zionists are shocked that people think they are evil.
There is zero evidence of rape on Oct 7, no victims, no testimony, no evidence. Its as real as the beheaded baby story.
Hamas is not using human shields at all.

Israel is choosing genocide.

Bring on the ICC

I think you and I have different views of what "fairly restrained cops" look like.

But the cops also shouldn't have been sent in in most cases.

I don't know why you would think that.
I think it is perfectly possible to have Kent State again (and Jacksonville) or even the University of New Mexico incident.
But, to be fair, with the advent of more "non-lethal" means, the odds are less just because the cops have more options before resorting to their guns.

What are the cops supposed to do when the students refuse to move? The cops then have to do their jobs and that involves physically moving the students. Every physical confrontation between cops and occupiers / protestors is pretty much the same.

Isn't the issue really WHEN the occupiers get turfed rather than IF ??

They have to move some time. They can't occupy the premises indefinitely. Some of them would stay for weeks. And some of the presence is genuinely intimidating to Jewish students.
