I posted one article. The 2nd article you are quoting is not what these particular doctors (the harassed ones) wrote. It is the lie that is being spread by those of the campaign to discredit these doctors. But you are doing exactly the same thing as those in the anti-Jewish campaign. DiManno was simply stating the lie that was being spread, but you are now claiming that that lie is the truth.
You could simply find the public letter and link to it.
That should settle the issue.

What are the cops supposed to do when the students refuse to move? The cops then have to do their jobs and that involves physically moving the students. Every physical confrontation between cops and occupiers / protestors is pretty much the same.

Isn't the issue really WHEN the occupiers get turfed rather than IF ??

They have to move some time. They can't occupy the premises indefinitely. Some of them would stay for weeks. And some of the presence is genuinely intimidating to Jewish students.
These are real issues.
How do you negotiate a sit in?

The US tradition has been "send in the cops to forcibly remove them".
It's a shit tradition but one that has a lot of popular support.

And there are differing levels of force involved.
And whether or not to arrest and charge are choices.

People are going to disagree with what is appropriate.
You and I disagree with how this has been handled.

Yes, the doctors who wrote the letter declaring they were zionists are shocked that people think they are evil.
The doctors who wrote the letter are not the ones being targetted.
There is zero evidence of rape on Oct 7, no victims, no testimony, no evidence.
It's difficult for dead people to give testimony.

Sorry Geno. The raping on Oct.7 is documented and has been denounced by the chief prosecutor of the ICJ/ICC.
Hamas is not using human shields at all.
That's how they managed to get so many Gazans killed. You know the people they were supposed to protect but built tunnels underneath them and put them in harms way instead.

Israel is choosing genocide.
Not according to the UNGA or UNSC. Why are you ignoring the UN? That is completely hypocritical of you. Fomenting hate by stating falsehoods is Hate Speech.

Seeing as The Star is a well-respected publication and their reporters must corroborate their sources, it's safe for me to assume that DiManno did her due diligence. Why do you think otherwise?

So now you're against illegal occupations?

Yes, they are.
It's difficult for dead people to give testimony.
But then you'd have autopsy reports.
Why aren't there any?
Why are there no names of victims?

No, hammy, the UN went in and took notes of Israeli accusations. They copied them and said yes, investigate those allegations.
The UN has not stated that rape happened and has seen no evidence towards that.

That's how they managed to get so many Gazans killed. You know the people they were supposed to protect but built tunnels underneath them and put them in harms way instead.
Israel dropped 3 Hiroshima's worth of explosives on Gaza.
There is nowhere safe.

This is the UN saying Israel is committing genocide.
Are you ignoring the UN?

Can't read the Star's article and I would assume the reporting is about the harassment, not the letter itself.
Frank seems to be saying the text of the letter justifies the harassment, so I'd like to see the text of the letter.

Getting closer to calling in the National Guard now.

Seems like the students are happy to escalate.

Surely when the cops tell you to leave someone else's property, you leave. You don't push back and attack the cops.

Yes, they are.

Why aren't there any?
They are not permitted under Jewish law.

No, hammy, the UN went in and took notes of Israeli accusations....
....and then the chief prosecutor if the ICC/ICJ saw plenty of evidence and said it occurred.

The UN HAS stated that Hamas return all the hostages. But in this case you don't care about the UN's position.

Israel dropped 3 Hiroshima's worth of explosives on Gaza.
There is nowhere safe.
That's like the wife beater blaming the victim.

You can't start a war and then complain about the aftermath. Maybe you are now agreeing that the Oct.7 attack was a STUPID tactic. Or another way to put it is, "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime."

This is the UN saying Israel is committing genocide.
Are you ignoring the UN?
You are ignoring the fact that neither the UNGA or UNSC issued any resolutions declaring that Israel is guilty of this. Committees, rapporteurs and individuals can make statements, but they are not final decisions of the UN and are not binding. Only the GA or the SC can issue those.

Why are you ignoring the UN, Geno?

It's Texas.
We all expected the National Guard there - it's Governor Abbott.
Well, he held off longer than anyone might have expected. But the kids are fighting back against the riot police. That means that it'll escalate into tear gas and the Nat Guard.

What else is supposed to happen at this point?

You also give Abbott a nice "law and order / keep our communities safe" GOP podium to run on in the next election. How does that help the Dems?

Why would the protesters care about helping the Dems?
That's not what they are thinking about.

The Law & Order narrative was coming no matter what the students did, though.
Even if they left quietly on day 1, there would have been bragging about how "they didn't let it get out of hand like it did in New York".

But in Texas, this probably plays well for the Governor.
Cracking student heads (especially Austin) is probably very popular.

It is.
Why is this guy framing that as a threat?

I guess I need to hunt down the original reporting now, because I would be genuinely shocked if it isn't exactly what it seems to be - pointing out that Israel will use that as an excuse to pull out of the ceasefire talks they are in right now.
Really, you'd be shocked after everything else the US has done?
I didn't think you were that naive.

You are lying again.
Prove this claim, hammy.

This is the latest.

The UN HAS stated that Hamas return all the hostages. But in this case you don't care about the UN's position.
The UN has also said Israel had to return all the thousands of their hostages, ceasefire, prevent killing Palestinians, allow all aid through and charge all those who incite genocide.
Israel is the invading party, they have to stop first.

You can't start a war and then complain about the aftermath. Maybe you are now agreeing that the Oct.7 attack was a STUPID tactic. Or another way to put it is, "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime."
So Israel has no right to complain about Hamas after they've wiped Palestine off the maps and illegally occupied them for 75 years?
right

Why are you ignoring that the UN says Israel is apartheid, the occupation is illegal and they are committing genocide?

I see, so you're here arguing that its antisemitic to be against genocide.
...
Your just proving that your frothing hatred prevents you from being able to read.

You've been shitting on everything Israel for a decade in this handle and tens of thousands as groggy and flubadub. You have proven you don't need facts or reality.
