Sorry. I don't accept homework from strangers on the internet.Okay, then please list similar near 100-year City of Toronto leases in place of this magnitude for City property with private corporations:

How about you just admit that the 407 lease was a shitty deal for Ontario and made in total secrecy, like Ontario Place looks to be right now?Sorry. I don't accept homework from strangers on the internet.
Here's a thought...how about you stop being lazy and do a search? Can you handle that?
The pandemic was considered a force majeure event. That is in the contract as in most infrastructure contracts. Why do you think they would lose?
The Liberals lost the case and ended up with insignificant benefits. They should not have pursued it in court in the first place and could have gained any benefits without being in court for a year. It was a publicity stunt.Ohh dear. Let me explain that the Liberals did bring that lawsuit against The 407 ETR. They then came to a agreement with the ETR in 2007. I already posted what that agreement included, although they lost the case. At least we got some benefits from it as a result of that agreement. In that case what is the relevance of The Ford Government and suing the 407ETR, as no one has mentioned that they did, as the case was done and dusted in Court.
But why are you so partisan when stating that the Liberal Govt. lost taxpayers money with suing the 407 ETR, but then giving the Ford Government a pass on his over a dozen lawsuits that he lost? You seem to have lost the plot, by then calling it a deflection as it is a direct comparison to the Ford Govt. "wasting taxpayers money" based on your arguments against The Liberal Govt and The 407ETR lawsuits. Especially when The Ford Govt. itself brought lawsuits against Legislations that it lost. One example was the Carbon Pricing that he challenged and lost. This is not about the lawsuits brought by Unions or other organizations that he also lost:
Maybe you now get it!!
I've lost track of how many times I've already said the 407 deal was not good. Why do you keep asking? How about you just admit that the 407 lease was a shitty deal for Ontario and made in total secrecy, like Ontario Place looks to be right now?
So why are you defending the Ontario Place deal?I've lost track of how many times I've already said the 407 deal was not good. Why do you keep asking?
Are you not reading anything and responding blindly to posts here?
Are you stuck on repeat until your mental buffer clears some room?
Otherwise you just come across as unhinged when you ask the same question over and over.
Nothing ever seems to stick and sink in with these guys Skoob. Doesn’t matter how many times I’ve defended union ( other than their political involvement/ influence). Doesn’t matter I’ve depended pensions for those that don’t make great money.I've lost track of how many times I've already said the 407 deal was not good. Why do you keep asking?

Well I'm not fully defending anything yet because the deal hasn't been fully disclosed yet which is why I said I'm reserving judgement. So why are you defending the Ontario Place deal?
I haven't seen the details of the Ontario Place lease. The city of Toronto has a few similar long term leases in place so this is not uncommon.

Says the guy too lazy (or too incompetent) to just do a simple google search. What's the matter?
Why would you say something like that?
What's wrong with you?
There is no integrity in squirming away into a dung pile.
Show some backbone..
List those leases that you know so, so much about.

Thank You for the tip!
Like Skoob comes up with any facts whatsoever........ROTFLMAO!!Interesting. Economist and experts hardly call those losses BS. Far far from it.
And clearly you don’t remember Skoob having to remind you, that Harper had to deal with those losses ( plus 2008, plus 2012) when you were arguing Harper was a disaster and comparing his record to JTs
Once again, you are always the one that starts to throw personal abuses against anyone that does not have your POV. That is what I'm referring to!!Find a quote where I refer to Justin to anything other than JT. Just one.
You will find some quotes where I use terms like cityiots/center of the universe. Do you grasp
A) that is how most of Canada refers to you and I’ve said that many times .
B) cause and effect and you reap what you sow?
With respect to the convoy. Supporters came from near and far. No arguement they should have left sooner ( I’ve said that many times)…what demographic do you think they were, by the time they drove from Alberta to Ottawa and gathered there…….are you so naive as to believe they were all truckers or even a large majority….…never mind dumb ones or far right ones?
As far as protest are concerned. So blocking the flow of commerce and traffic is dumb when it’s commoners protesting vaccines and lock downs. But not dumb when teachers and unions do the same.
interesting
You mean facts that you disagree with? Like when you refused to accept the facts about housing costs skyrocketing since the Libs took over in 2015 even though I provided the facts? If I recall, you tried to ignore the data and just blamed Harper again as usual.Like Skoob comes up with any facts whatsoever........ROTFLMAO!!
Yesh. You mean facts that you disagree with? Like when you refused to accept the facts about housing costs skyrocketing since the Libs took over in 2015 even though I provided the facts? If I recall, you tried to ignore the data and just blamed Harper again as usual.
Newsflash: Harper hasn't been in power for a decade. Harris hasn't been in power 2.2 decades!
Once again the trending was always upwards in the prices of houses. The average Toronto house price in 2004 was just over $300,000. In 2015 it went up to above $622,000. Yes, already a double the price as compared to the time just before the recession. Yet this is exactly what Harper stated in 2015:You mean facts that you disagree with? Like when you refused to accept the facts about housing costs skyrocketing since the Libs took over in 2015 even though I provided the facts? If I recall, you tried to ignore the data and just blamed Harper again as usual.

That's quite the word salad. If you look at the trend for example in Toronto (which is indicative of the same national trend), you can see that the increase was gradual from about 1995 onwards. That is, until the Liberals took over in 2015.Once again the trending was always upwards in the prices of houses. The average Toronto house price in 2004 was just over $300,000. In 2015 it went up to above $622,000. Yes, already a double the price as compared to the time just before the recession. Yet this is exactly what Harper stated in 2015:
Harper says no need for action in housing market, as rate wars rage
Prime Minister Stephen Harper said Wednesday Ottawa is closely watching developments in the still-hot housing market, but there’s no need for another intervention.
![]()
“I’m not saying I’m unconcerned. We are watching it. We’re not planning to take any immediate action,” Harper told reporters after an event in Mississauga, Ont.
“We continue to watch the housing market and the lending and borrowing situation very carefully,” he said.
The Prime Minister made the remarks as Canada’s big banks made fresh cuts to mortgage lending rates, with the Bank of Montreal leading the market lower by slicing its 5-year, fixed rate to 2.79 per cent.
That should help rev up home sales across the country this spring, even as buyers confront affordability constraints in big centres — namely Vancouver and Toronto.
There are also concerns though that Canadians have piled on too much debt and that some pockets of the housing market have become “overheated.”

Now that is why I was right in stating that harper did not give a damn about it. At least Trudeau implemented a stress test and started the building of affordable housing that Pee Pee who has multiple rentals is opposing!!
But what is hilarious, is the fact that you were confused when you labelled the Liberals as "amending" the 407ETR contract. Moreover Not so Young confused the "Housing Sector" from the "Manufacturing Sector". You guys are hilarious!!
