And if you own a hummer you are a winner and can afford a bit more in taxes?
You example is outdated.
No one drives Hummers because the gas has been made too expensive by the carbon tax. However, Hummer is now an EV so it's a moot point.

I would say wealthier people are more apt to buy one of the higher end EV's. The average lower to middle-class person can't afford them regardless of rebates.

So your example is flawed. And the myth you are peddling doesn't hold water.

Correct.
Now explain how the groceries arrive at your supermarket.
Please tell us how much fuel is used for the delivery of food to grocery stores.
Give us an exact cost for fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy each per purchase.

Wow, you know me so well.

In fact I've got a bike generator for my laptop, which I hand built from all wooden renewable parts, as well and do eat dandelions for desert.
You own nothing and are happy. Good to see you fall in line with their agenda.

And that's where you fall on your face every time...you can't comprehend the bigger picture...

It's not just the delivery of the goods to the store...it's everything before it.
You think manufacturers, farmers, etc can produce without fuel?
How about the equipment manufactured for use in the production process...you think fuel isn't used for that?
You think goods can be packaged without fuel?
You think the manufactured goods don't have to flow through various parts of the supply chain before arriving at stores?
etc
etc

Every steps of the way, it's more expensive and those costs translate into higher costs for consumers...rich and poor alike.

Thank you for proving the carbon tax works.

Next subject?
No it doesn't work. Neither does your example.

You said rich people consume more, so they pay more. I proved with an example that they don't.

Instead lower-middle class get punished because they can't afford to get away from everything impacted by carbon tax on fuel.

Failed ideology and a failed ponzi scheme.

We are talking about Canada's carbon tax.
Prove your claim, how much does fuel add to grocery basics?
Tell us how much fuel adds to grocery prices then tell us how much more the carbon tax adds to those groceries.

You do know, don't you?
You're not just full of bullshit here, are you?

You geniuses choose the warmest winter in history to declare an end to the fight against climate change...LOL
.

climate changes, always has , mostly likely always will

what is needed is the end of unwarranted hysteria driven by propaganda and uninformed irresponsible fear mongering

Ever since man started communicating, there has always been a segment of the population who has predicted the end of the world
They originated as the village idiots, and then evolved to placard carrying spectacles on city street corners and now have moved onto the internet

Let PP do his con act, dismantle healthcare, the CBC, pensions and social programs
Thats pure propaganda & fear mongering

Health care is managed by the provinces
Pensions are segregated money managed by independent boards

Social programs ?
require funding and well ........... Trudeau borrowed and spent the revenues from several future generations
Poiliervre will act responsibly given the financial mess he will have to work with

Poiliervre will also drive much needed change at the CBC.
a public broadcaster should not be beholding/ biased to a specific political party in a democracy.
Every Canadian should be very concerned with this corruption

if people are stupid enough to follow him into the abyss of conservative greed, division, homophobia and racism.
that is so wrong,
how many victim cards do you plan on playing here ?

. Measles is back thanks to the anti vax crowd that PP courts. Maybe he'll crack down on prostitution and bring back the Red Ensign too !

nope
Poiliervre is just going to displace an irresponsible, corrupt narcists, fool/ PM before Trudeau does more damage.
Poiliervre will not intentionally make life more expensive for Canadians i.e. he is not Justin Trudeau

its all upside unless you are one of the piggies with their snout in the Trudeau taxpayer funded trough or the lunatic segment of the population as described above

haha I've asked more times than I can count to show me how each dollar collected in carbon tax improves the climate and you haven't been able to.

Now you want me to provide info? hahahaha

That's funny.

You proved the carbon tax works, skooby poo.
I actually proved it doesn't despite what you keep repeating.

You just keep flip flopping between blaming rich people for consuming more fuel and funding rebates for the poor, then flipping back to rich people using EV's because of how expensive fuel costs?

You seem confused.

Total anti science statement, larue.

The records show 1.5ºC global temperature difference for last year.
Every single metric that was projected has been measured, ocean temps, glacial melt, atmospheric CO2, atmospheric temp.

You have to deny all of those to maintain your wacko opinion that nothing is happening.

Wait, you mean you admit you can't answer both questions?
You don't know how carbon taxes finances work and you don't know how much it adds to groceries?

But you do admit they work?
