The only things growing at Loblaws are their profits. And mould.
But but but, I thought groceries are high because of the Carbon tax not because of Corporations wanting to shaft us because they can as in greedflation. What is Pee Pee Pisstain going to do about greedflation considering a grocery chain lobbist is in his ear?

Total anti science statement, larue.

The records show 1.5ºC global temperature difference for last year.
Every single metric that was projected has been measured, ocean temps, glacial melt, atmospheric CO2, atmospheric temp.

You have to deny all of those to maintain your wacko opinion that nothing is happening.
How much carbon tax has to be paid to reduce the temperature by 1ºC so we can calculate how much more needs to be paid to save the planet?

Wait, you mean you admit you can't answer both questions?
You don't know how carbon taxes finances work and you don't know how much it adds to groceries?

But you do admit they work?
I can answer...but as I mentioned, why should I answer your questions when you refuse (or can't) answer mine?

We all know your usual tactics of just asking questions when you're stumped or caught in your failure, or just deflecting to something else.

You just keep proving your failure every time.

Your question is a troll question.
How much carbon tax has to be paid to reduce the temperature by 1ºC so we can calculate how much more needs to be paid to save the planet?
If you want it answered you need to provide the base.

How much carbon tax is being paid globally right now.
How expensive do ff's have to become before people switch to renewables.
How long a time period is this reduction of 1ºC going to take?
How long does the CO2 stay in the atmosphere?
What global CO2 level would lower the temperature of the planet and at what time rate?

Answer those questions and we can start a discussion.
If you don't want to answer those questions, you are confirmed to be trolling.

I thought you were going to provide the following formula to explain how much carbon tax needs to be paid to reduce the temperature by 1 degree:

level of intelligence - amount of climate alarmism ingested + how good you want to feel about yourself + what Greta tells you + the hypocrisy of climate warriors - common sense = maximum carbon tax that can be extorted from you

You call my question a troll question and expect answers to your questions?

hahaha that's funny. Desperate...but funny! Lol!

Yet skoob thinks the carbon tax adds more to grocery pricing than grocery chain profits.
Have you ever thought that the fact that immigration grows more every year that maybe just maybe new arrivals to Canada actually have to eat as well. And that the more people eating means more profits for the food industry.

See?

You're not interested in a discussion, you're trying play 'gotcha' with posts.
That's a troll move.

If you were interested in discussing subjects you'd start thinking about those questions.
Instead you resorted to 'I'm not a troll, you are'.

How does that increase the rate of profit, which has been rising for the last few years?

More people buying food mean a rise in rate of profit. Grocery stores were allowed to stay open during the scamdemic. Restaurants couldn't so more people were cooking there own food instead of eating out. Add in new residents and they make even more. You forget Loblaws has the low income stores under it's chain as well.

Shush Skoob, i'll have your spam I love it; I'm having spam spam spam spam spam baked beans and spam.

The amount of CO2 in a given area fluctuates depending on the number of deciduous trees in the area. CO2 can stay in the atmosphere between 300 to 1000 years. Were closer to controlling the amount of methane that gets into the atmosphere, which can stay there between 7 to 12 years. Clay absorbs methane, fortunately zeolite clay, the most absorbent is relatively plentiful and scientists are working to improve it. Therefore cow farts really do cause climate change.

Hope this helps.

CO2 is a part of the earth's atmosphere and is need for plant life to survive. If what you say is true then the CO2 in the atmosphere today could've been around since 1024 to 1724.

There was no industrial revolution during that time frame roddermac, most of the excess CO2 is much more recent. Thomas Newcombe invented the steam engine in 1712, not until James Watt perfected it in 1762 was it practical. William Blake included the cotton mills of midlands England in his song Jerusalem publish during the Napoleonic Wars.

how would you know that it's the same CO2 ?
That's a silly question Juan, most of the CO2 in the atmosphere is from the development of the industrial revolution. Fortunately Toronto has gotten much greener since the 60's, the new Portlands will help considerably. Waterfowl and fish have already taken up residence there and it's far from complete.

do not dismiss my question

there is about 0.04% of CO2 in the atmosphere

most of it from liberal virtue signaling, latest study shows done by experts

CO2 is part of earth's atmosphere, it's needed to support life

That might increase the amount of profit but not the rate of profit, which went up about 50% or so, if I recall correctly.
