Leafs should tank for 2026 lottery draft.
The Leafs have changed coaches twice and GMs three times. I think it's the President that has to go next.Because the $11 million a year forwards didn't prove they are worth what they are paid by scoring. Also player like Marner was super arrogant by not listening to coaching by head coach. The $11 million players should get pay reduction keeping losing like this.
The Leafs GM has this stupid idea that high pay will win them games, without any incentive for them to win. They have gotten their high $ contracts already, some even have no movement clause.
The Leafs needs a new GM who can act like a business man.

Nothing like a marriage to cement the incest. If the Leafs don't go on a deep playoff run, the Shannaplan era could be over as Keith Pelley takes over MLSE on April 2.

I don’t think Bedard will ever be a generational player. The first round pick can be like first marriages, quite a few just don’t work out.Leafs should tank for 2026 lottery draft.
He already is. The draft is always a crap shoot but some you know will make it.I don’t think Bedard will ever be a generational player. The first round pick can be like first marriages, quite a few just don’t work out.
Very talented young man, emerging superstar status but not a generational player like Orr, Grets, Mario, Sid, McD.He already is. The draft is always a crap shoot but some you know will make it.
He's an unrestricted free agent at the end of this year.Bush is back %75 salary retained.
Ducks get 3rd round pick (to retain %50 salary)
Canes get 6th round pick.(to take on %25 salary)
We'll see in due time. My opinion Pasternak is an elite player who doesn't get his due.Very talented young man, emerging superstar status but not a generational player like Orr, Grets, Mario, Sid, McD.
Nylander this season has 82 pts. Matthews has 78 and Marner 73 and both will hit 80 in a week or two so come back next week and it'll be 5 players but he is the first to do it before Matthews and Marner.According to Sportsnet Nylander is only the third player in Maple Leafs history to have 3 consecutive 80 point seasons. The other 2 are Sittler and McDonald.. I found that surprising.
