That is a gross invasion of her personal space.

2-3 years ago I was on my bike and got lost in the east end. I always get lost in the east end.

So, I flagged down a woman and asked: "Where is Prince Edward Viaduct?". She pulled out her cellphone and showed me but I wasn't wearing bi-focals so couldn't see the tiny font on her cell. Rather than invade her personal space, I asked her to read it to me.

I thanked her and a bit later got lost again. So, I asked another woman and she pulled out her cellphone and you know the rest of the story.

Where the fcuk is the Prince Edward Viaduct?
You apparently didn't read the aticle.
He had no interaction with her and was not near her, his eyes were apparently, from what she said, staring right at her.
He had no idea she was even there or talking to him as he could not see her and believed she was talking to someone else.
Since he didn't know she was talking to him he didn't respond at first until she came closer and repeated herself calling him a "creep".

It connects Bloor and Danforth over the Don river.

I was speaking generally (not referring strictly to the present case). Best not to invade a woman's personal space. Wise words to live by.

HR once said to me that 10% of the staff cause 90% of the problems.
As an employer, this is an accurate statement. Some people can literally make a second job for you just keeping up with all the problems they make.
However, I can say by experience it's pretty easy to pick up on who these people will be in the hiring process. Not 100% foolproof, but usually.

I later found out the actual location was the Prince Edward Viaduct Parkette.

I hate the east end!
Both ladies did try to help. I tried to flag down a male jogger but he just ignored me. When it comes to getting help in the wild I find women are helpful or at least try to help, males are almost always useless.

I know that guy! He told me he saw a purple people eater before he went blind.

You don’t need proof of anything when you “know a guy”. LOL.

Sorry but without a link to the an actual story like this - I call bullshit. 😂😂😂😂

Never said I knew him

Also

Don't you feel retarded right about now

Oh, also all this coming from, believe all women, even ones making claims from decades ago with no evidence while trying to get a financial settlement. You really are a disgusting bigot. I am sure if the blind person was a female you would be all up in that.

But hey to steal a line from you. It's good to know that you find some disabled dude being accused of something he literally can't do and can prove it so funny.

This brings back memories of a few females sharing with me how they don't enjoy working with other females. Sorry you're going through this. Random question - Do you have some cash in the account? Wrongful accusations is criminal. If you want to show anyone you don't tolerate any non sense hire a lawyer immediately. HR dictates what happens in a workplace pretty clearly, however, their tune changes pretty quickly when you have someone representing you. Deep down inside if I knew I didn't do anything wrong I would sue for defamation. If she want's to step into your kitchen show her she better be able to take the heat.
He can prove he was accused, but how would he prove he was accused wrongfully. He can't prove he didn't look at her in a wrong way. I mean if he accused him of having Marxist Feminist dialetic that brings all the boys to the yard and he has cameras in the yard 24/7 showing no boys as a history of being all about strange women in ponds giving out swords, that you could prove.
But this. I donno.

Are you sure this isn't another one of those right wing outrage, TERB troll posts? Because you made sure she fit your idea of what "woke" means. This is another hole in your story.
I mean it's possible, but yeah that comment was a bit "sus" as the kids these days say, I think.

Its in Prince Edward Island. You are in the wrong province! Guess you do get lost in the "east end". 😂
Prince Edward Country enters the chat, feels ignored, gets sad and leaves again.

Not saying it's there, but PEC is one of ours [Ontario] let's show it some love.

Yeah, but at least the male you tried to flag down wasn't me. I take pleasure in pretending to help while sending you in the opposite direction... ;) Learn to use Google Maps, or an equivalent.

Thank you. Context matters.

I will admit I read the first line wrong. I thought NotADoctor knew this person personally but he must have just listened to the podcast as he is a content creator.

So to me it sounded like “ I know this guy and he told me …….” Type story, instead of a documented occurrence. So that was my bad.

He should have sued the place and got her kicked out. Hell it wasn’t that long ago, I would still sue.
@notadoctor

a little late to the game but I already got the proof, explained why I misread your post and said it was my bad. I was wrong. See my quote above.

So to answer your question. No. First I won’t repeat the slur you used to try and insult me but I don’t feel bad for making and owning a mistake. I’m human. I don’t pretend to be anything other then human. I also have no problem owning up to a wrong before it being pointed out.

I also sided with the blind guy and said he should have or still should sue. So no bigot here either.

Nice try though….. 🙄

Try to keep up next time. 😂

You do what you do and I'll do what I do.

I often also help people who need directions.

An example is when 2 ladies using their cellphone to translate from Spanish to English asked me for directions.

Another example is when a couple of German tourists on the Island needed direction on how to get to the ferry dock.

Those are just two examples.

If I'm the big boss I will defiantly look to see what people are doing to make sure everyone is doing their job. Does this excuse the big boss from looking because he/she is top brass? To me this sounds a little aggressive and blown out of proportion. If he truly didn't do anything wrong hire a lawyer. All it takes is a phone call. It wont cost you anything. Know your rights when you feel wrongfully accused. Employment lawyers make lots of money due to organizations who think they can do whatever they want.

Well have you used lawyer regarding something like this? Free lawyer? Useless legal aid lawyer? Be careful not to get taken advantage of by crooks.

Being looked at the right or wrong way, it's based on that person's feelings, how can I prove on my end I didn't make the person feel a certain way. Sounds likes a frivolous lawsuit that's not even worth my time, especially as of right now when there isn't an HR investigation yet.

I don't think the company wants to be sent on a wild goose chase investigating something that's impossible to prove. That's why the department manager tipped me off, so that from now on I avoid the person. Moreover, I don't think dragging the company into litigation is wise career move.

Yes, free consult. Normally they give some indication if you have a case or not. Divorce, Crime or work....they give some guidance for FREE. You can decide if you want to pursue it or not. I had a contract issue at work. I called a lawyer. He brought clarity to my case and I decided it wasn't worth it. There was a good chance I would loose. That was enough for me to stop thinking about it. This didn't cost me a penny. Also, there has been many cases where legal fees were paid by the other party who lost.

Unfortunately your name is out there already. If you think this is between you, your manager and her, most likely not. This is considered gossip and people love gossip. This shit in not kept private as much as you think it is. Your name has been thrown into the creep pot and will be dragged in mud at this company. Girls talk to more than one girl.

I guess you and I are different. If i know I didn't do anything wrong I would fight to clear my name and bring the dark rain cloud to her desk. It's raining on you. Not her.

I would clear my name, send her an indirect message not to mess with me and of course stop looking at me. I couldn't care about the company. This is my name. I'm the brand of me. Jobs can be changed. Your name cant.

Now, please discount all of this if you are looking at her for more than a few seconds. There's a difference between glancing and staring. I have seen men look at women for extended periods of time. To the point its uncomfortable. It's creepy. I'm uncomfortable just watching this happen. Anyways I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt this isn't you.

Lastly, it's very hard to get fired today unless something obvious occurs especially with heavy HR driven organizations.

When you stop for a coffee break at work make sure you look at the ceiling when you walk across the office floor with a smile. Good luck.

Send her an email with that new Drake video as an attachment (where he is pulling his wiener on his private jet), and tell her your cock is so much longer and harder.

How did she “ghost” you?
lol right. Like sounds like he persued her /stared at her /went to cofffee station every time she went (shared open space?) and she started adjusting her “schedule” and he noticed and tried to figure it out to seem casual and then she noticed him peering (humans will wake up when they feel eyes staring at them while sleeping so yes people know when they’re being stared at )
so he is saying she ghosted him (this term is used in dating world. Not sure how it’s translated now to work environment ? concerning

Cant do. Already earning good salary for my trade, 10th year at my job, I have another 30 years to go, so leaving this job is like giving up 5 million dollars, plus I have mortgages to pay, so there's no way I will leave, I'm getting the union involved and will be even more careful from now on.

If I have an issue I go to my supervisor, but butterface every time goes directly to the department manager to complain, when I told my supervisor about this complaint, he's not even aware of it. I'm sure if butterface had any real evidence, she would have gone to HR already.
The normal
procedure of command is to approach the manager first then hr
