Don't ever fucking cross me by complaining to the department manager to make me look bad.
That sentence doesn't make much sence. Although, I think I got what your saying...

Did this happen first? Why did she complain to the manager to make you look bad and what did she say?

Your still a snitch but I'm hoping you have something good to say brother.

Read the early post, she went above ranks to complain to my department manager about me "not respecting her 20 years of experience", so I had to apologize to her because the department manager now had concerns about my interpersonal skills. So basically she forced my hand by snitching to my department manager. A few months later somebody complained about her cellphone usage. What doesn't make sense?

Got to be really careful in the workplace.

One time I was giving a young woman her performance appraisal. She got really upset and as she was passing by me to get to the door, I instinctively put my hands gently on each of her shoulders. She continued out the door. Fortunately, she did not make an issue of it. Otherwise, my excellent career could have suffered a hit.

Actually, that same afternoon back in the main office she came over to my desk as if nothing happened and we simply just carried on with our jobs. No, no ghosting. No, no complaining to the big boss. No, no complaining to HR, Legal, HRC and/or police.

that is not what is normally meant by ghosting, and he did not say that was the ghosting.
He actually refused to clarify it multiple times.

I guess he needed time to make up an excuse since his post was already quoted and he couldn’t just delete the ghosted comment.

You don’t get “ghosted” in the workplace.

La la land
Workplaces has become a BAD battle warfare zone everywhere in the 2020s'.
Even here.

@notadoctor #79
Ghosting - I can see been used in general, like everyone thought it was only for dates. Ignoring is the old days I guess,

I got ignore at work by a bunch of women because I started to help the men that need help and these men have health issue. What ever happen to " service to others in need".?

@Paprika #66
Yeah I see your mistake by defending your position about the manager. Your response to her should have been .... "well I see what you mean and understand", then walked away. Your come back to her from her POV felt threating to her.

I mentioned before on this board that PEOPLE lie on their RESUME.
Also it may sound like she wants your manager's job. Also it feels that she may have tried to make a move on you and it went sideways.

Just be careful with her because she is forever your ENEMY. She will never be anything else.

I was at a 12 step meeting, for a year I place everything on the table, then returned everything to the cabinets, never complained just out of my heart and goodness. One day I decided not do it. The hot Chick said to me..." items need to be put away"...I responded,,,," Yes you are right"... I walked away and she never mentioned it and she showed more courtesy after that.

Just your earlier sentence…but I got it…your just angry.

Read what you wrote and be likeable. Straight up...you do come off behaving like an asshole. I’m trying to find out why for your benefit.

Who is the senior at the company you or her? What initially happened that made her complain you are not respecting her 20 years of experience…did you do something? You said you had to apologize lol (asshole). It’s too bad your manager sounds right having concerns about your interpersonal skills. So basically she forced your hand by snitching to your department lol (asshole).

This is too much… Please tell me butterface is being a bitch because you make more money then her. Like give me something good…so somebody can advise how to give it to them up the ass if they deserve it lol. Or even better…be liked lol.

Sounds like you are at war with your coworkers and your having a horrible experience. Maybe take a vacation to give people time to cool off…come back and get on peoples good side which could take some time.

OP, you clearly have an issue with your coworker, and resent that she is in the position that she is, and that she is fucking the dog at work, so you have probably been glaring at her for that, and she called you out, but (totally unfairly I agree) put a harassment spin on it.
You should just do your job and mind your own business, making comments about how she doesn’t deserve the position (whether she does or not) will never help you, and will more likely lead to more trouble, as it has. Concentrate on your own work, let your bosses police the rest of the employees.

As for the “ghosting” remark, I think you meant that she “blanked” you (ie ignored you at work) rather than ghosting, which usually refers to stopping responding to someone’s messages, or cutting off all communication unexpectedly.

One sort of rule in a charity I was sort of involved with back in the ancient past, if you suggest it, you just volunteered to do it.

I am reminded of a story as told by the person this happened to

This guy was accused of eye humping some chick at the gym

He is blind. Cane, local government ID, the works. Didn't matter, IIRC gym kicked him out even after he explained himself.

I know that guy! He told me he saw a purple people eater before he went blind.

You don’t need proof of anything when you “know a guy”. LOL.

Sorry but without a link to the an actual story like this - I call bullshit. 😂😂😂😂

Here you go, it happened when he was 17, he had 4% vision at the time.
The second article contains the interaction between him and the woman who accused him of staring.

He is now, at 21, a psychology and counseling student as well as a You Tube content creator.

Maybe he humped the girl in his imagination. That is a no no in our toxic society.

Would any red blooded male not look at the woman in the pic below?

Thank you. Context matters.

I will admit I read the first line wrong. I thought NotADoctor knew this person personally but he must have just listened to the podcast as he is a content creator.

So to me it sounded like “ I know this guy and he told me …….” Type story, instead of a documented occurrence. So that was my bad.

He should have sued the place and got her kicked out. Hell it wasn’t that long ago, I would still sue.

If he could have seen her, maybe.
4% vision basically means that what a normal person sees at 20 feet, he can see at about 10 inches.
So if while doing his workout, he got his face to within 2 feet of her, he could have recognized her as female but would have to get closer to see particulars.
Just for example I wear glasses for reading, if I take them off, I have to get 4 inches from the screen to see that your picture is more than a flesh coloured circle.

This brings back memories of a few females sharing with me how they don't enjoy working with other females. Sorry you're going through this. Random question - Do you have some cash in the account? Wrongful accusations is criminal. If you want to show anyone you don't tolerate any non sense hire a lawyer immediately. HR dictates what happens in a workplace pretty clearly, however, their tune changes pretty quickly when you have someone representing you. Deep down inside if I knew I didn't do anything wrong I would sue for defamation. If she want's to step into your kitchen show her she better be able to take the heat.

he got his face to within 2 feet of her,
That is a gross invasion of her personal space.

2-3 years ago I was on my bike and got lost in the east end. I always get lost in the east end.

So, I flagged down a woman and asked: "Where is Prince Edward Viaduct?". She pulled out her cellphone and showed me but I wasn't wearing bi-focals so couldn't see the tiny font on her cell. Rather than invade her personal space, I asked her to read it to me.

I thanked her and a bit later got lost again. So, I asked another woman and she pulled out her cellphone and you know the rest of the story.

Where the fcuk is the Prince Edward Viaduct?
