The ICJ wasn't ruling on guilt or innocence so would never use the word 'stop', you need a verdict of guilt to say stop the crime.
...
But you demand a verdict of guilty before criticizing Hamas.

And the ICJ did rule about Hamas' hostages but you love Hamas having Jews as negotiating chips so you don't give a shit.

The word stop is irrelevant. It is also unprofessional to use in a court's lingo. ...
Look at you guys squirm to make excuses. If you actually supported the ICJ ruling, you would condemn Hamas. You don't because as you have clearly stated , you think Jews should be ethnically cleansed from the region and "go back home".

ICJ told Hamas to return the hostages. Why are they defying the ICJ's demands?

Preventing genocide is a given for humanity. The ICJ needed to say prevent further genocide for you to not be called out for lying.
The ICJ said Israel must prevent the killing and injuring of Palestinians and make sure all aid gets through.

As CBC called it:
Israel must take steps to prevent genocide in Gaza, UN court says in ruling on temporary measures
International Court of Justice said it won't throw out case on the main genocide question

I support the ICJ ruling.
Israel must ceasefire in order to prevent the killing and injuring of Palestinians and allow all aid through.
Israel and Hamas should return all hostages.
Then the ICJ and ICC should investigate and lay charges.

You are too cowardly to answer a simple question by rich. ICJ told Hamas to release the hostages. Have they? Yes or no.

How can they, Israel is still committing genocide.
Israel has to ceasefire for that to happen.

As the ICJ demanded.
ICJ, did not add any provisos. It was simply that Hamas must return the hostages. No conditions depending on what Israel does.

franks's latest declaration:

Israel does not have to comply with ICJ rulings.

Hamas is a terror group and condemning them is low hanging fruit and it is actually unnecessary.
You are too funny. Discard out of hand any facts that you don't like. It's irrelevant. You do this over and over and over again.

The (supposed) occupation has been going on for 75 years. It's not relevant anymore. It's old news. The action perpetrated by Hamas on Oct. 7 is what we need to talk about. The hostages is what we need to talk about.

I'd be shocked if he answered your question. He'll just do a "what about Israel?"
p.s. I haven't looked at any posts beyond this one.
Yes, to abide by the ICJ ruling Israel must ceasefire so they can 'prevent killing members of the group', allow all aid in and Hamas and Israel must both return hostages.

Icj didn't demand ceasefire, but they demanded hostages released...if you genuinely care for Palestinians releasing hostages would be the best option...Gaza would still be standing if hostage taking and massacre didn't happen on Oct 7...

"Condemning Hamas" is low hanging fruit and therefore not important.
Sez you. They are an active terrorist entity and are not irrelevant until they are eradicated.

The so-called occupation has been going on for 75 years and as such is no longer relevant to any discussion.

Icj didn't demand ceasefire,
Hey rich, how do you obey the ICJ ruling which says Israel must 'prevent killing members of the group' without a ceasefire?

The Court indicates provisional measures

take all measures within its power to prevent the commission of all acts within the scope of Article II of this Convention, in particular:

(a) killing members of the group;

(b) causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;

(c) deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; and

You interpret it wrong...I'm not surprised....

I quoted the text.
How do you 'prevent killing members of the group' without a ceasefire, rich?
they just did in their last operation...3 terrorists killed zero civilian casualties...just what the ICJ prescribed...
