Intelligence soldier's warning of invasion in July dismissed as 'imaginary' (msn.com)

Senior defense officials dismissed alerts ahead of October 7 massacre
The dismissed warnings of the NCOs and officers join additional reported warnings and alerts that were issued and ignored in the IDF and other arms of the defense establishment in the months leading up to the October 7 massacre.

In recent weeks, multiple reports have been published in Israeli media detailing how IDF lookouts operating along the Gaza border repeatedly warned their commanders that they had seen unusual activity near the border and that Hamas appeared to be planning a large attack.

The lookouts' concerns were dismissed and, according to N12, in at least one instance one of the lookouts went to a senior commander and was told "I don't want to hear again about this nonsense. If you all bother us again with these things, you'll be court-martialed."

Sounds about right from upper management.
Sure it was dismissed by upper management...ceasefire was in place and Hamas broke it...and now we are here...

What official ceasefire are you talking about?

There were 233 terrorist settler attacks before Oct in 2023.
This all started after settlers stormed the Al Aqsa, is that part of a ceasefire or just normal Israeli terrorism?

Was this before or after Operation Breaking Dawn?

Was this ceasefire after or before the 2021 attacks?

"Stormed" nice play on words...there was no "stormed"
The official ceasefire was decades ago and Hamas violated it multiple times....you know everytime they get their ass kicked...ceasefire resumes...until they thought they have enough rockets....they will never learn....just like you...

No matter what the cause of death, he was taken against his will, put him in a stressful condition, exposed him in basically a war zone...brought to you by Hamas...
Which war zone is that?
The one created by IDF occupying Palestinian territories? Imposing embargos, cutting off electricity, water, medicine, bombing hospitals, medical vehicles, murdering journalists, that war zone?

You are ridiculous.
The only side that has ever had a ceasefire in the last decade has been Hamas, and a voluntary one at that.
There were attacks in 2008, 2011, 2014, 2018, 2021 and 2022.

And 'stormed' is how it has been reported in the press multiple times.
Your denial is just so sad at this point.

Why don't we start by refreshing your memory with parts of Amnesty's 2022 report.

ISRAEL AND OCCUPIED PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES 2022
Israel’s continuing oppressive and discriminatory system of governing Palestinians in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT) constituted a system of apartheid, and Israeli officials committed the crime of apartheid under international law. Israeli forces launched a three-day offensive on the occupied Gaza Strip in August during which they committed apparent war crimes. This compounded the impact of a 15-year ongoing Israeli blockade that amounts to illegal collective punishment and further fragments Palestinian territory. Israel escalated its crackdown on Palestinians’ freedom of association. It also imposed arbitrary restrictions on freedom of movement and closures that amounted to collective punishment, mainly in the northern West Bank, ostensibly in response to armed attacks by Palestinians on Israeli soldiers and settlers. The year saw a rise in the number of Palestinians unlawfully killed and seriously injured by Israeli forces during raids in the West Bank. Administrative detentions of Palestinians hit a 14-year high, and torture and other ill-treatment continued. Israeli forces demolished al-Araqib village in the Negev/Naqab for the 211th time. A further 35 Palestinian-Bedouin towns in Israel were still denied formal recognition and residents faced possible forcible transfer. Authorities failed to process asylum claims for thousands of asylum seekers, and imposed restrictions on their right to work.

No, the one created by Hamas when they commited atrocities in Oct 7, then scurried in the tunnels under Gaza exposing civilians to danger....that war zone...

Because he is actually using hard facts and because he is actually interviewing people who have been there first hand at the source of where all this is happening. Not bigots who hide behind a screen
Sounds legit...Not...maybe dig a little deeper and find out who funds them....

I get you are passionate about the Palestinians...I feel sorry for them too...but that passion...makes you turn a blind eye on Hamas...the terrorist group ruling Gaza...the one subjecting palestinians to the sufferings...the one making gaza an "open prison" or "concentration camp"... so tell me, are you willing to ignore terrorists because they are fighting Jews?

A couple of videos I recommend for Frankfooter to watch.
Thanks Pete, there is a fair amount of propaganda out about Al Shifa.
The big point being that Israel knew there was a bunker under the hospital because they built it in 1983.
The problem for them was it was totally unused, so they pretended Hamas would store metal weapons next to an MRI, that's just so unlikely.

Your racism goes as far as not admitting that Palestinians have rights. Including the right to self defence against an occupation and blockade that are war crimes. Even basketcase admits Palestinians, including Hamas, have the right to self defence.

They don't have the right to target civilians, neither do Israelis. So I fully support investigations into all war crimes by both sides as part of a deescalation. Charge the leaders on both sides, end apartheid and give Palestinians full human rights.

None of that has anything to do with attitudes towards the Jewish people, only the zionist movement.
I keep repeating the Jewish groups who back the same views as I do, who are against apartheid, the occupation and zionism.

The question turns around and becomes, why are you so blind to war crimes and terrorism committed by the Israeli government and Zionist movement?

So had Hamas not killed any civilians on Oct 7 you would have accepted it as self defence?
