Aside from the Israeli-Palestinian quagmire (which I don't know enough to knowledgeably comment on anyways), the Politics (and COVID) sections have degenerated into what I consider a cesspool of rabid right wing lunatics re-spewing vitriolic nonsense.
And the worst of them have never posted a single review nor otherwise contributed to an intelligent or interesting discussion.
So, while nobody is going to miss me anyways, I have pretty much abandoned participating in TERB at all. I have pretty much not posted in a month or so although I read a few posts here and there once in a while. Which just reinforces my decision to disengage from TERB. I think many others have silently done the same.
imagine that TERB ownership have crunched the numbers to see if the posting activity (hits) in Politics (and the resultant stated value in advertising rates/views) outweigh the loss of authentic, stalwart members.
C'mon man. The sex forums are still entertaining, informative, and have:
- Steered me towards some great providers I would not have otherwise met
- Saved me $$ by steering me away from providers I was interested in, but who got a majority of negative reviews.
