They would have no choice but to call a cease-fire. As the US has pretty much forced a humanitarian pause, if they released the hostages and surrendered Netty would have no choice, absolutely NONE. Just put your biases out of this and think who would they be fighting if HAMAS surrenders? WHat, the bricks and blocks still standing??
What makes you think Netanyahu would stop killing Palestinians even if they surrendered?

So then your dream scenario is to empower HAMAS so they can keep battling Netanyahu?

Do you actually believe the US would allow Netanyahu to continue to bomb Gaza if Hamas surrenders and hostages released??

No, you need both sides to ceasefire.
A surrender means one can keep killing until they kill everyone they call terrorist, which is everyone.

Netanyahu might stop bombing but he definitely would keep trying to kill anyone he suspects of being Hamas.

Ceasefire.

They will point to other Islamic groups. It is not just Hamas right? Islamic Jihad etc? They would also say that this is now a new security situation and that they would like to occupy to bring stability. So they will occupy Northern Gaza, bring the PA in and say that they will be responsible for administration while Israel will take care of security. They will slowly move settlers in, create walls, checkpoints, and constantly point to the October 7 attack as justification, effectively pressuring the Palestinians even further. This will lead to more terrorism, more reprisals, and more bombings south of Gaza. And they will rinse repeat this until they take all of those lands creating refugees, and reduce the Palestinians to a few densely populated enclaves, entirely dependent on Israel, surrounded and separated by Israeli settlements and heavy militarization. In essence ethnic cleansing, apartheid and land theft.

This is a tried and tested Israeli tactic that they pursued in the West Bank. It is what will happen.

And can anyone trust Bibi and his ultra-right wing government that runs on a "No Palestinian Statehood" platform? The US will have no real say in this, because the Israelis will spin it and lie to the US that they are not occupying at all - just ensuring security and the US will let it happen. How do I know this? Because it has happened before and the US let it happen.
The odds are Netty will not be voted in again and again, he will have no choice if they are relying on Western money, arms and support. Do they need to ensure an Oct 7 attack will never happen again, YES they do.

I am fine with them eliminating everyone within Hamas. I do not pity anyone affiliated with Hamas.

The cycle of violence will only end when the occupation and apartheid end.
Palestinians are the majority and you can't keep stealing their land forever.

Why, because they targeted civilians?
Then you should also accept the death sentence for all Israelis who took part in targeting civ
No, because I blame Hamas for every innocent Palestinian death up until this very minute.

IF they release all the hostages, Hamas surrenders then I will blame Israel for every Palestinian death going forward.

There were 233 settler terrorist attacks in the West Bank this year before Oct 7.
Why do you blame Hamas for those and refuse to call out Israel for terrorism?

It just looks like its old school racism to me.

That is why he will prolong this. To save his political career. In a sick way, this terror attack was one of the best things to happen for his political career.

Israel is an ultra-right wing country, there is no space for leftists in that country. So he will very much be voted in. And they will continue to steal land.

What about the Palestinians in all of this? What happens to their lands? Why is there ZERO empathy for them especially over here in the west? The ONLY reason is racism. People are so racist, they have absolutely no empathy and concern for the plight of those people because they are a different religion, because they are poor and because they are possibly a different skin colour.
Which land did they steal? If you're talking about the west bank...that land has been contested for decades now...what makes you think it's all palestinian land there? There are a lot of pieces of land being contested up to this day. South China Sea has been contested by Philippines and CHina...they just don't fire rockets at each other....Israel is recognized by the league of nations when they accepted the mandate...Palestinians didn't...they wanted everything "from the river to the sea"...that's not really looking for peace now is it?

Genocide, rich.

You're blind to racism so blinding that you can't even see that you're backing genocide.
You can keep claiming that...it doesn't make it true...Hamas killing civilians, point blank...killing babies with bare hands, beheading a person using a garden hoe....those are what you defend...barbarism and terrorism...
and by the way....what's up with the hostages?

The fact Oct. 7th was allowed to happen because they had become a little complacent with security will not be forgotten by the voters. I'm not a fan of Netty but he's been left with no choice because of the barbaric terrorist attacked ordered by HAMAS.

Yes, religious folks tend to lean to the right but that doesn't give HAMAS the right to storm in and kill and kidnap innocent folks without expecting a solid ass-kicking.

Well, if they stop sending missiles into Israel in other words the iron dome becomes obsolete then I don't believe Israel would need to take land to enhance their security. Imagine if Canada now and then launched a missile into the US because our government felt the US wasn't being fair to us, what would be happening at our borders right now??

So then in your opinion, Hamas was justified on Oct. 7? This must be your opinion because you do not want them to release all the hostages and surrender so then, you support Hamas and encourage them to keep on fighting??
