And there lies what i've been talking all these time...You know me and franky has been in this argument since last year....I have told him time and again, Hamas will not hesitate to attack Israel banking on the idea that civilians will be their shelter and Israel will not attack them.... Oct 7 is what broke the camel's back...there were numerous attacks before that...Hamas has time and again expressed what their objectives are...they are not here to protect palestinians, they are here to kill jews...It is not okay on either side. Both are war crimes.
It is also not easy to 'evacuate' in Gaza. Its a small densely populated city that is razed to the ground. Few buildings left standing amidst the rubble.
Also Israel has been hitting South Gaza too. So there is no where to go, nowhere to hide. Except for the Hamas hiding in their tunnels, the civilians are left out in the open and exposed.

If the occupation ends and apartheid ends the attacks will stop.

Thats complete bullshit. Gaza is about the same size as Mississauga.
Gazans could literally walk from North Gaza to South Gaza in 1 day and escape the bombing.
The only people who perhaps couldnt do it is really old people, but everyone else could do it.
Unless of course Hamas doesnt allow them to leave, and uses them as human shields to rack up a high body count.

I believe out of the 6,000 bombs IDF have dropped so far only a fraction have gone to South GazaThey are bombing North and South Gaza. There are not many places to "just walk to in 1 day".

Either way, South Gaza is clearly much safer than the North

I don't think that's right to just kill them because they welcome it as martyrdom....but it's one of the big reasons there are civilian casualties in Gaza and it's a pretty high number....some of them welcome it... the ultimate sacrifice to bring the State of Israel to it's knees...

The reasons why there are so many civilian casualties is because Israel is targeting and killing them.
You can't look at this and say it was only targeting militants.
