no my question has to do with usual tactic of diverting from the he real issue in order to attempt to create a moral equivalency or justification.
there is a lot to criticize Israeli policies in the WB and Gaza and the that is certainly a legitimate debate but regardless of one’s view in that debate nothing justifies the barbaric attack or creates any moral equivalency. It is the refusal to call out Hamas for the barbarians they are that is the the real issue,
Of course it's barbaric. You can't massacre people without being barbaric.
And Israel is barbaric for it's treatment of the Palestinians. But you won't call out Israel.
You can justify Israel's barbarism, but you want everyone to call out Hamas' barbarism.
There are few members in here that are reveling in and gloating about Israel's barbarism.
You want to see Hamas strictly as barbaric because it absolves Israel of all it's crimes.
You know how the mafia started, poor Sicilian peasants being abused and totally oppressed by the wealthy landowners and
feudal lords, with no recourse to justice. There were families and clans that secretly took on roles of protectors and exactors of justice
for the community (that's why mob orgs are called families).
Ultimately, these families started shaking down landlords and the wealthy, and eventually came to rule the communities.
The oppressor always creates the Frankenstein.
