Possibly a combination of both where they feed into each other. But there is objective discrimination in France where these Muslim people live in poor enclaves with not even proper drinking water etc., Those things can be fixed.

There is this book Obama recommended that I read. This lady is a Washington Post and NYT investigative journalist. She talks about how it is in Europe along with terrorism etc. One of the most informative imo.

My understanding too. The immigrant (Black and Brown) population in France is segregated in peripheral cites and actively discriminated against. So they don't assimilate and remain poor, marginal and resentful.

If Israel forcefully evacuates homes and attacks Palestinians I agree that is state terrorism.
Ok, so you've agreed:
Israel is apartheid
Palestinians have a right to self defence
Israelis are also committing terrorism
The occupation is illegal.

Now you have to get over your racism to say why you think the 54 year old occupation, 17 year blockade and apartheid rule aren't the real reasons why there is still violence and why Hamas attacked. Explain why you think the continuing colonization of what could have been Palestine isn't the reason why there is still violence.

Over the years I recall several Imam`s saying that Islam doesn`t fit into Western culture. As a prayer leader and community leader and guide you would think they would know. Like pushing the square peg into a round hole...it sorta` kinda` fits, but...

Now imagine that they took that entire population and put them in a giant prison where there was 54% unemployment, 75% are refugees, 90% of the water is undrinkable and Paris controlled who comes in and out, how much food, water and electricity they got.

And then they bombed them.

But here's the difference.

There is no logical reason that the non whites in France are segregated.

But much of the Arab population in Gaza is actively hostile towards Israel and cannot co exist with the Israelis. Hence those big barbed wire fences and guarded checkpoints.

Leimonis demolished that argument by pointing out that Palestinians live quite happily with almost equal rights inside the 1967 borders of Israel. 'Israeli Arabs' show that if you give them equal rights they can live in peace.

Otherwise your post is just based on your own racial prejudices against Palestinians.

Does this sound like someone who cannot coexist with Israelis?

Liberation for us means dismantling the structures of Zionist settler colonialism and apartheid and addressing the inequalities and injustices it has inflicted on us, the indigenous population of Palestine, over the past 100 years.

Liberation for us aims to transform the relationship between Palestinians and Israelis into one based on total equality and justice. The settler society is expected to abandon all colonial privileges and display real willingness to accept responsibility for past crimes and injustices. The compromise that indigenous Palestinians are expected to offer is to accept settlers as equal citizens in the new state between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.

This is the path to peace and security, and the international community, which has long accepted Israel’s war crimes against the Palestinians and has even been complicit in them, will have to embrace it.

Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
The problem with your thinking Kautilya and the lefts. Your rationalizing based on your/our own values and morals. Morals are not universal.

You assuming that the fox wants to live in peace with the chicken. Or that you can force or coerce it to…Lambs and wolves. Whether in nature or human nature. And the fact is, even if left entirely alone. The mid east would be happy wiping each other out. Have for centuries, still do. See ISIL see Hamas and disregard for human life and more, see how they treat women, and more.

You think the people being occupied, living in an ever shrinking area under apartheid occupation are the 'foxes'?

Absolutely. It's only a matter of time before the Arabs in Toronto take over Fairview Mall and wage jihad in the food court and Mendocino. 5 years ago, Butler told us this would happen within a year or two. And he was totally right.... in rightie fantasy world. (Not in real life).

It doesn't really matter. If they can't coexist, they can't live together.

Killing 600 civilians last weekend proves they can't co exist.

I have never said any of those things are right. I have always maintained that Israel's actions amount to oppression. I have also said both Israel and Palestine are racist towards each other.

But in this particular case, where Hamas massacred civilians, it is terrorism. Not self-defence.
But in this particular case Israel's response is also terrorism.
And they have the added illegal occupation and apartheid rule.

B'tselem lists 233 settler terrorist attacks in 2023 up until this round of violence.
Do you not consider Israeli terrorism to acts of aggression

You've stated that Hamas has a right to self defence and your only issue is that they are using the same techniques that Israel is now using, but that means you think only Hamas is bad.

Israel's president has stated he thinks there are no civilians in Gaza, that he thinks he can target and kill every Palestinian living in Gaza.
Why would you back this side?

It doesn't prove they can't coexist, it proves that Palestinians won't live in an open air prison under apartheid rule forever.
Why do you think they should?

Why do you back such an overtly racist regime that is now escalating from apartheid, the second most evil crime against humanity, to the most evil of crimes: genocide?

This is where you are wrong. You cannot attack Israel and expect no response and then call it terrorism when they do.
Both sides are committing terrorism. Take them both to the ICC.
But also note that one side commits way more terrorism, kills more civilians, is illegally occupying another people's homeland, committing apartheid and now appears to be in a campaign of genocide. That's not Hamas.

That points to my earlier statement of Israelis being racist. But if you ask a Palestinian they would say something similar too.
Yet you don't have a problem with apartheid.
You don't see the illegal occupation of Palestine as problematic.
And you demonize only one side as hateful terrorists.

2.2 million people are being bombed in a giant open air prison where Israel has blocked all water, food and power.
You are now supporting genocide.
